We got a baked penne dinner with meatballs and a pizza with mushroom and pepperoni…The baked penne was well put together and the sauce and meatballs tasted homemade, it had an amazing taste…The pizza was very good too…Will definitely order from them again!🍕“

“We happened to be driving through and stopped for lunch. We were so glad that we did. Great chicken cutlet sandwich. Awesome chicken piccata. But we would come back for the soup alone. The Mona Lisa soup is hands down the best soup I have had out at a restaurant. It’s chicken, rice, spinach, lemon and some magical seasonings..with homemade croutons and sliced lemon on the side. Absolutely delicious. We ordered more to take home. Our server was friendly and helpful and really knew the menu. She was great. We will definitely back.“

“It was our first time there, and for our first time, it was perfect. We ordered the garlic parm chicken wings as an appetizer, asked for them extra crispy. When those came out, it was perfection to my eyes, you can see they were crispy and crunchy. That first bite, that crunch, goodness gracious...AMAZING!!! We also ordered the Meat Lover's pizza...WOW!!!
It was packed with meat and for it to be packed with meat, the pizza was NOT GREASY!!! We loved what we ordered and definitely coming back again. The hospitality there was great and the place was very clean..10 out of 10 for our first visit!“

“I've eaten at over 300 pizza places in CT. This location is on the top of my list top 15 places. I'll give it an 7.5/10. I haven't had a pizza this good in a while. I ordered a Cheese for myself, the crust is crispy but not impossible to eat, the cheese is gooey with a perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Not too salty, but full of flavor.

Service was quick and friendly. Overall a pleasant experience, will for sure eat here again when I'm in Canton.“

“We decided to give Vivaldi’s a shot tonight after a long day at work. We hadn’t had it before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. This pizza is as good as any pizza in Avon/Canton and better than several. This is really a carry out place… there is a booth in there, but seriously, take it with you.

We had a mushroom pizza and it was great. Baked just the way we like it. We will be back for sure.“

We also had a ham grinder, French fries, and a creamy chicken rice soup - all of which was good.
If I were just rating the pizza, I would say three stars is probably generous, but to be fair, everything else was good, so I believe 4 stars is fair.
The menu here is pretty big. They not only have a kids menu, but a seniors menu too…
This place has been here for as long as I can remember and is a Plainville staple.
I think if we try this place again, I will have to try a steak sandwich. They appear to have a lot of steak sandwich options, so I suspect that they are good.“

“This place holds a special place in my heart. I just tried JDs pizza in southington.. same type of pie. Horrible. This pizza is really a Greek style. It has a fresh fluffy crispy dough and perfect toppings and a nice balanced sauce! “My girlfriend and I have fallen in love with this place, the garlic knots are fantastic, the Stromboli is delicious, the steak sandwich on focaccia is amazing, and they are incredibly kind and accommodating! I requested to add sausage to the chicken broccoli Alfredo, and not only did they give me a massive portion, but my addition of sausage didn’t allure them to skimp out on the other toppings. This was the creamiest and most flavorful Alfredo sauce I’ve had, probably ever. Please take some of these other reviews with a grain of salt, people today can be rude, spiteful and deceitful. Give Sofias a try for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.“
