“Local store since 1921. Lots of regulars here, but welcoming to all. The ladies behind the counter are super sweet! There is a nice covered patio for eating outside. The sandwiches are good - the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is a little lean so I'd suggest a double egg!“

“This place is seriously underrated. It's tucked in behind S.Main on Elm St. but I try to stop here once every two weeks (pay day lol) to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich. It's so cute inside and I've always had the warmest of welcomes when I come in. Help yourself to a coffee and you know after your first bite, the food is prepared with care. My usual is the sausage egg and cheese with grilled onions and hot cherry peppers and it's the best in town... seriously. The Mrs does the same except with bacon. We've stopped a few times with the kids for a sit down and they always ask "why don't we come here more often?" The owner came out one time when she was trying a new French toast recipe with and gave everyone a taste test. Love it!!“

“I ordered a steak and cheese grinder, a grilled cheese for the baby , & a smoothie. The smoothie and grilled cheese were both great. The steak grinder was honestly dry, I didn’t taste the cheese or onions, just dry meat . I did order off of door dash in defense of the store so it definitely could’ve dried out in the delivery process . I will definitely try them again in person & I would still recommend anyone looking for a healthy friendly place to eat to try the green deli .“

“I am a teacher at a local elementary school and went to lunch here with my colleagues on our professional development day. I had planned to order an omelette as I have a gluten allergy, but didn’t realize that breakfast hours had ended. Although breakfast had ended, the gentleman at the counter was kind enough to put in my order. My Western omelette was delicious and I am so impressed with their customer service! This was my first visit to Eagle’s View and I will definitely return.“

Just about everyone that was ordering lunch to go, got Kielbasa with Provolone, Kraut, Mustard on a Hard Roll. And I'll agree after making it at home, that's the BEST Way to eat it! Bring CASH Because they don't take any kind of cards. That should be updated as a lot of people no longer carry cash. And the parking is terrible there. “Listen...they use boars head and not JennieO cold cuts which is awesome!. I belive it's halal foods not sure.. The people are great the service is excellent. “Went to Stellato's Deli today to grab lunch. Ended up ordering the 3.1 Panini, chicken was tender, thin sliced prosciutto with tomato, mozzarella and pesto. Great sandwich, full of great flavors , hit the spot. First time visit, will be back. Plenty of free parking in front of Deli.“

“I went here for lunch for the first time . I have always wanted to go but I have never been in the area for lunch time . It's a very cute Italian deli for take out. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and added fried peppers on a hard roll. This was amazing! Most places do not make eggplant right however, the sandwich was excellent. It was thin enough and enough breading and the sauce tasted great as well. I would definitely come back just for the eggplant. I also ordered the #6 fresh mozzarella with tomato and roasted peppers, pesto, balsamic and I added pickled eggplant. This tasted great as well. I got my husband a fried breaded flounder grinder. it comes with lettuce, tomato cheese and tartar sauce. He doesn't like tartar sauce, so I had mayo on it instead. He stated that the fish was fresh and tasted good however, it didn't have much flavor. He felt that he would want flavor in the breading in order to order it again. Overall, very happy with the lunch order and definitely would go back..“

Gross...) don't you dare go anywhere else? “Saw Vinny’s on the news last night because they allow people to buy meal vouchers for anyone who needs a meal to come in and use. So I decided to try them and buy a couple of meal vouchers. I got the #58 (The Leo - similar to an Reuben but cole slaw instead of sour kraut) and it was a really good sandwich - a good bread to meat to sauce to everything else ratio. It was better than a very popular NYC deli that I tried last month (and much more reasonably priced too!). I also got a bottle of Vinny’s root beer, which had a really nostalgic taste to it. The staff was really friendly and the place was really clean. “They are the best deli in Waterbury . even all the surrounding towns. The bread is perfect. It is to hard but not so soft it gets soggy. Perfect amount of onions and tops. Meat. Well they definitely don't skimp. It flows with tons of meat and good quality. My mouth gets happy on the firsy bite thru the end Btw. Their Roast Beef is perfecto too! Not well done. “I don't buy lunch out much anymore finding it hard to justify $15 on a taco meal or a burger & fries & guilt. When I get a fresh sub or salad from Nardelli's, I'm happy and full off of healthier great tasting food. It's just as fast! I usually don't have time to eat there but it's well maintained, stocked with options from snacks to dessert and a friendly staff. “Stopped by looking for a snack and man did Amanda deliver. I got the chicken bacon ranch on a grinder and a side of pasta salad. This is honestly one of the best CBR I’ve had.The chicken is super moist, coupled with heaps of crispy smoked bacon, which you can really taste. The ranch gives a creamy base layer that ties in the thick cuts of lettuce and tomatoes. This is all gift wrapped in a layer of cheddar cheese. The bread was crispy and held the insides of this sub together, without leaking through.I’ll be back to try the whole rest of the menu, you should too!“

“The Corner Deli is always worth it: the sandwiches are large and filling. My favorite is The Chris. You can't go wrong with any chicken cutlet order. They have sides like macaroni salad, coleslaw and lots of chips to choose from. I always leave there satisfied. Service is prompt; I've never had to wait long for an order. The price is decent and the place is welcoming and clean. Although it's a takeout venue, there are tables and chairs where you can sit as well.“

We got the family order which is huge! Easily would feed a family of four, and our family of 2 adults has leftovers for at least another meal!
