“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

However, I am a vegetarian and there was next to nothing, besides salads and pizza to eat. Not even a pasta dish. So that was disappointing. They have a fairly substantial menu, I think they need to adjust it and add some meatless options. My wife had the porkchops and loved them. The service was very good as well. We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. Looked interesting and I wanted to try it - was glad I did.The menu is smaller, but enough and great choices. I settled on the brisket empanadas for an appetizer. I honestly could've eaten a bucket of these as they were that good. The 'nada sauce was fine, but you don't need it either.They have a good drink selection and had Mexican Coke (and Sprite)! If you haven't ever tried Mexican Coke, I'd strongly recommend it. Superior to American Coke for sure.For the main course, I went with the reliable burger - in this case, the 'house double'(w/ a side). I added bacon, because why not. Burger was very tasty and something I'd easily have again, though there were enough options on the menu that I'd also love to try.Alana was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a pleasure. Simply outstanding all around.The place is small, but comfortable. 3 booths and several tables - a bar if you want to sit there. Several TVs as well.There is another location in New Rochelle (the first one actually).Parking is metered street. “We stopped by here for a quick and casual bite. The place is reminiscent of an old English pub and the setting is comfortable and relaxed. I loved the fireplace in the bar area, which seemed cozy and intimate. I loved that the main dining area was free of TV's! It was very busy on an early Sunday evening with lots of people dining in but also lots of take out. We had perused the online menu before arriving and found the actual menu to be a tad different so be aware. The menu does offer a variety of options for everyone. We ordered the fish and chips and the chili. Our orders arrived in a timely manner. The fish was fresh tasting, flaky, and perfectly battered and fried. The chili was very good, although the cheese was melted on top---much like a French onion soup--which made it hard. I personally would prefer it not that way, but the chili itself had a slightly sweet taste and was enjoyable and so filling. Service was prompt and friendly. We found the prices to be reasonable and the portion sizes great. The parking lot was full so we had to use the adjacent church parking lot-a 1 minute walk-, but that was no problem. I would give this 3.5 stars.“
