“We went to JRegos for the first time last night. We will definitely be back. The menu was fantastic , staff was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. The food? Spectacular! “The spring hill inn... oh my. Do I have so much say about it. When it comes to food, the best ive ever tasted. The chocolate lava cake, the choclate that seems out is beutiful chocolatly perfection. All wrapped in soft cake. The pasta is amazing, my favorite. My absolute favorite. Just thinking about it makes me want to drive there right now and buy five plates of the chicken parm a la vodka. The creamy sauce with a perfectly umami balanced taste. Alongside the cultural aspects of the resturant. When you enter, its a classic diner setting, when you walk jnt here is a side table showing a bit of Nepali culture, beautifula nd imformative display. The people. Amazing, no words. So nice, always make you feel like family and serve you with so much joy, making you left even happier. “My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“I added in this place to google because I am not a golfer and can't really say how well Black Ledge is as a golf course. However, I eat at the restaurant all the time here when I am in Connecticut. The food is excellent, especially the clam chowder and chicken tenders. A lot of times, bands will play on Saturdays, so you will need a reservation on those days. The staff here is very nice, especially the waitresses. Inside, it is very clean and has televisions. There is a bar and plenty of seating for the restaurant. The owner has been nice to me ever since I have gone here, and he's a really good guy overall. I will try to add some pictures next time I go!“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“My husband George and I frequently go to our "neighborhood" SPOT in Tolland since it opened. It really feels like a home away from home where you can watch a game, collaborate with colleagues over dinner, have a birthday party or little league celebration. It is a place to go for all members of the family for any occasion. The main menu is thoughtful, and we look forward to the weekly specials which are delicious. Prime rib Thursdays is a favorite as well. They have specials on cocktails and mocktails with special touches like cranberries in the ice, or the chocolate drizzle in the Andes martini with whipped creme and Andes mint crumbles. We have not found anything that was not delicious and in appetizing and filling portions. They have adult homemade ice cream to crave! It has a slightly different ambiance in each corner, the sofa lounge area, the seated family dining area, the sports zone covered in big screen tv's and the bar area where you are treated like family and they remember what you like as soon as you sit down. I love their themed special events that pair delicious and unique appetizers, with bourbon, wine, whiskey while sommeliers and chefs discuss the flavor combinations introducing us to tastes that tantalize your whole palate while sharing the history or culture of what you are enjoying. In addition, they have trivia nights, karaoke, an annual car show in the fall, and other seasonal events. In moderate to mild weather, the outdoor covered area is great for listening to local bands and bringing people together. in a comfortable setting. The costs are comparable to other good restaurants, and well worth the experience. If there is any problem with your order (which can happen everywhere), they quickly remedy it. We appreciate the warm welcome every time we come in from the owner and his staff.“

“We were coming back home, wife was abit hungry so we veered off the highway, and traveled into Ellington. We do remember coming here once before, but we don’t remember when. My wife had an apple fashion, and I had the Downeast black cherry cider. My wife ordered the chipotle, chicken wrap, and I had the still house burger with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Good food, abit busy but able to find parking has that more rustic feel inside.“

I did want to update my review after seeing there being a complaint about the prices of food. Seeing how *consistent* their prices are is remarkable, and above and beyond that the value is particularly noteworthy.

Altogether from the quality (and *portions*) of the food, to the amazing staff, definitely a place to come to and make a regular stop.“

“I decided to stop in The Vernon grill by accident About 6 months ago To pick up Lottery tickets and noticed they had a grill inside. So I decided to look at the menu and order one of their grilled signature sandwiches which was excellent. Since that day, I continue go to Go there. I find that they're food is excellent. I have never had a problem Ordering anything on their menu? It's always been delicious. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. I find that whenever I decided not to cook at home I always wind up at Vernon grill. I have found this establishment to be one that I enjoy a great deal. I continue to tell my friends and family to give it a try and they have enjoyed it very much. I have yet to have any negative experiences. “The nostalgia around this place is out of this world. Heard Sue Bird and Diana Turasi brag about it while watching the final four and I can see why. Owners are always working, staff is one of the best in business, food is always warm, and the beer is always cold. What more could you ask for!
