“The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“
“Been going for years. Food is best value around. Best falafal. Get the sampler that comes with salad and the pickle, onion, herb, tomato toppings! Please keep the same chef or chef techniques as we are all used to in the past years. last time food was a little different ?? usually awesome beef kabob. but I will be back! Keep up the usually very consistent great work !“
“Love this place. Stopped by one evening for takeout and ended up having a little bit of a lot of different plates. Everything was really, really good. The kibbeh & the schwarma stood out. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area.“
“What a pleasant surprise! After a search on Google Maps for a restaurant with vegan options, we made a detour from our road trip to the Catskills to stop at this Middle Eastern restaurant. My husband and I shared a VEGAN Mezza Special (12 plates) for two: Hommous, Baba Ghannouj, Tabbouli, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Falafel, Luby (Green Beans), Spinach Pies, Foul (Fava beans), Moujadara (lentils), Mousakaa, Fattouch (salad), Olives. We have dined in other Lebanese restaurants in the US and in the Middle East, and we both agree that the quality of the food in this restaurant surpasses them all. We were served by the owner Maha Hanna, who told us that her husband is the chef who created our delicious meal. We will most certainly be back whenever we are in the area!“
