I loved that they had the option to get it plain! Even though it's plain it still comes in a very flavorful tasty sauce. The General Tso's chicken sat for about 15 minutes on the commute back, and it still was crispy, flavorful, and delicious after! I appreciate the option to spice everything up!“

“Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“

“When living in South Windsor for years we used to always get our Chinese from SunSun. We always got delivery.I remember, delivery always used to get there quickly food was hot. Food was always excellent! I was recently driving by and was thinking about dinner. I said that's where sun ☀️ is. I stopped for takeout. Typical 15 minute wait. I must admit. They still have the best Chinese food around. If you haven't tried them I highly recommend. Also I couldn't believe the operation. The price is not matched either, we got those three meals for $36.04, you can’t get breakfast for that for three people!!

To my surprise they do not use any of the allergens on my list so for the first time in a long time I could order anything on the menu. I got the general tso combination and it was delicious. I am thrilled that I have found a Chinese restaurant I can order from without fear of cross contamination. This restaurant is a hidden gem on Albany Avenue in Hartford.“

“We did take out. It was great that we could order online and it was ready quickly. The menu was large but a bit tricky to see everything online. The staff was friendly and efficient.

The beef lo mien was good and a large portion but a bit salty. The fried wantons were good and a large order of them. The general tso's was ok and the egg rolls had a bit of a different seasoning.

The restaurant was a bit small but clean.

All in all, I'd give it a try again and have a few different things on the menu.“

While others have had skyrocketing prices, they have maintained similar prices with large portions. The service is quick and courteous as you enter, and the food is always ready fast. It is not a restaurant that you done in at though, takeout only. “I was introduced to Luen Hop by my husband, 15 years ago. Ever since, no one can compare! We are huge fans of their bones spare ribs and they do NOT go light on their portions! I used to order the combo meal but now I order the large boneless spare ribs and a quart of rice so my daughter and I can share - and we each get TWO meals out of it!

The staff are always so pleasant, and even funny! They also remember you, which is really impressive for how many people they see every day! We don't go often but when we do, they recognize us.
