“Stopped by with a colleague from work and few friends for a tea stop. So many delicious varieties of tea, nice teacups, delicious scones and yummy sandwiches. Everyone was so impressed, it’s a lovely day to always remember and guess what I will be there for a father and daughter special treat. “Update: tried the house fried rice for the first time, highly recommend! Hot and sour soup is always excellent.The menu prices have gone up a little (about 50¢ more per entree type item) and the hours a different now too. They are only open on Tuesdays in December. Otherwise they are closed on Tuesday.Good Chinese, very friendly, very fast. The prices are reasonable and you get a good amount of food. I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford.Be aware that there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out.“

“Ordered on a whim when the menu was left at my door today. Definitely not disappointed! Had 3 different sushi rolls and a seafood udon, all fresh and delicious, even my toddler ate it up! They also carry my husbands favorite Thai tea so that's a bonus!“

“I’ve been here countless times and the food is consistently very good. The servers are always friendly too. Tonight I sat at the bar after a class and ordered grinders for takeout. Absolutely THE best grinders we’ve had in forever. My veggie and cheese grinder was LOADED with veggies! My husband’s grinder had so much nest he could have created 2 more grinders. “We are from Rhode Island and were in the area to visit Six Flags. Found Marks Restaurant using Google maps for breakfast near me. The food was excellent. The homemade bread was even better. Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. I’ve worked in foodservice delivery and have always viewed restaurants from back of house which influenced my decision to eat there. I recommend Marks and will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯“

“Listen, the food is no joke...it's delicious and worth the money you're going to have to spend. I know this is going to sound strange, but what impressed me the most was Mr. Joe, who runs the front of the restaurant. He could teach a master class in hospitality. I was amazed how even when he was the only one on the floor, he kept track of every patron who came in, or whoever was on the phone and knew in which order people were to be served. He took orders & got them right without having to write them down. Go for the food for sure, but enjoy the entertainment of watching Mr. Joe work.“

“Went here for lunch with my sister! I couldn’t believe how packed they were on a Monday! No wonder- the food and drink were ON POINT! Our waiter was very attentive and informative on wine. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip- delicious! I had the harvest vegetable bowl and added steak. The flavors mixed so well creating a palette of fresh, and my steak was cooked perfectly! My sister got the burger and a Cesar salad. The dressing was really fresh and lemony! The burger was delish as well! I will definitely be back! All the food I watched going by looked like 10 stars!“

“My husband George and I frequently go to our "neighborhood" SPOT in Tolland since it opened. It really feels like a home away from home where you can watch a game, collaborate with colleagues over dinner, have a birthday party or little league celebration. It is a place to go for all members of the family for any occasion. The main menu is thoughtful, and we look forward to the weekly specials which are delicious. Prime rib Thursdays is a favorite as well. They have specials on cocktails and mocktails with special touches like cranberries in the ice, or the chocolate drizzle in the Andes martini with whipped creme and Andes mint crumbles. We have not found anything that was not delicious and in appetizing and filling portions. They have adult homemade ice cream to crave! It has a slightly different ambiance in each corner, the sofa lounge area, the seated family dining area, the sports zone covered in big screen tv's and the bar area where you are treated like family and they remember what you like as soon as you sit down. I love their themed special events that pair delicious and unique appetizers, with bourbon, wine, whiskey while sommeliers and chefs discuss the flavor combinations introducing us to tastes that tantalize your whole palate while sharing the history or culture of what you are enjoying. In addition, they have trivia nights, karaoke, an annual car show in the fall, and other seasonal events. In moderate to mild weather, the outdoor covered area is great for listening to local bands and bringing people together. in a comfortable setting. The costs are comparable to other good restaurants, and well worth the experience. If there is any problem with your order (which can happen everywhere), they quickly remedy it. We appreciate the warm welcome every time we come in from the owner and his staff.“

“Im willing to drive 20 minutes from home because this is the best Chinese food I've ever had! This is my second time ordering from here. I got the sesame chicken with veggie fried rice and a small beef lo mein. The chicken has this wonderful crunch to it and the sauce is so delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection. And the lo mein is soo good and more than plenty for a small. This Chinese food is so good that you can reheat it the next day and it'll taste just as good as it did fresh! The flavors are fresh and its probably the only Chinese restaurant that hasnt made my stomach hurt after eating it. Totally worth the money!“

“One night, no one in the house felt like making dinner, so we decided to treat ourselves to a couple of pizzas from Frank Pepe Pizzeria in Manchester. We ordered one with all the regular toppings, one original tomato pizza with cheese and a clam pizza. This was the best idea we had in a long time. All 3 pizzas were outstanding. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, was that the crust was not as thin as it is in New Haven (the original location). That is me being a little picky. Otherwise, no body make a better pizza!“

“I have been going to Taste By Spellbound for years and followed them from Buckland Hills to the now South Windsor location. I have never been disappointed, the coffee is the best in the world, (and I've traveled the world) and the whiskey bars are to die for. I always buy them up whenever I'm lucky enough to get them. The staff is always incredibly polite and helpful and always makes me feel welcome. Everything from the employees to the pastries to the environment as a whole is one of a kind. I have sent many friends and clients to Taste by Spellbound over the years and everyone that I sent there has high praise. I love this place and look forward to visiting every week. I'd give this place and the employees a straight 10 if I could. Great job, all.“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!!
