“The food at this Taco Bell has always seemed really tasty, fresh, and hot. One thing I especially like is that several of the fried items are made fresh to order.

Something I have noticed on my previous visits is that if you order fries, chalupas, or Fiesta Potatoes, You may have to wait a few extra minutes, usually about 5 to 10 minutes at most if there are other orders ahead of yours, because they fry them after the order is placed. Personally, I would rather wait a little longer and get them fresh, hot, and crispy.

I also appreciate that when an order takes a little longer for this reason, the staff explains why.

The restaurant looks clean, and the staff is friendly and courteous. A large part of the team is Hispanic, and some employees are still learning English. Sometimes they may confirm your order more than once just to make sure they understood everything correctly. Some people might find that repetitive, but I see it as an effort to avoid mistakes and provide good service.

“An authentic Mexican dining experience in an unassuming strip mall. This gem has a homey decor, and fast friendly service. Tony was on point, as our server, and we didn't want for anything. The food was amazing. It wasn't just the flavors but the presentation. I've never had large tostito chips like this and it was just a fun experience. The green and red salsas are some of the best I have had. Very different flavor profiles, the green is milder with hints of avocado and maybe a bit of jalapeno. The red salsa has some heat. For dinner my wife had a chicken burrito. It was on the drier side which is how she prefers them and she said it was excellent. I tried a new dish, Alambres. It is a pile of steak, bacon peppers and onions covered in cheese. It was awesome, but unless you are a professional, you won't finish it. Also, if you like heat ask for the red spicy sauce on the side. We were too stuffed for dessert but we will definitely be going back again, so we will plan accordingly. As a note, they do have a bar as well and Mariachi night on Thursdays.“

“The food was amazing! We tried the birria tacos, steak tacos, and guacamole with chips, it was all so flavorful and delicious! The meat portion in the tacos was more generous than other places we’ve tried.
The kid at the front was so kind and patient while I took forever deciding what I wanted (I wanted to try everything, and I’ll keep going back till I do). He was very polite with me and my kids, and then was being silly with the kids like a big brother, they loved it! He made the experience much more than just waiting for a takeout order. We will be back for sure!!“

I usually get the enchiladas huertenas because I can't decide if the mole, red sauce, or green sauce is better; they are all equally wonderful. So are their tender, flavorful tamales. even their chips & salsa are a cut above. Pickup during the pandemic is fast and painless, which we appreciate.“

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

The pictures speak for themselves but if your cake isf illed with mold that could be solved with a simple friged repair. Then I don't want to know what your kitchen is like. Infinitely higher quality than chipotle at a similar cost. Of note, my burrito was a little on the liquidy side, which made it slightly messy. “My current top hidden gem for amazing and authentic Mexican food. Hidden in La plaza del Mercado, this spot has the most amazing tripe soup, where the tripe was properly cleaned, no funky taste/smell, cooked perfectly tender. Great caldo de res as well, the meat was tender and had a strong beef flavor, soup was light and refreshing and the veggies provided a nice natural sweetness and the squash was incredible inside. Their tacos are great as well and their pricing is a bargain and their portions are quite good.“

“I don't know if my meal was authentic or just a little different than many Mexican restaurants that claim to be authentic. I know that ground beef dishes aren't necessarily authentic but there is a way to keep the meal authentic with ground beef and I dont think this restaurant followed that code. Beautiful meal presentation.. Everything was very tasty but seemed a little lazy. Sour cream in packets, No homemade much of anything. Regardless, great meal. Marinated pork and ground beef tacos and a ground beef enchilada. I enjoyed my meal but it didnt stand out as anything special.“
