“Our second time trying Verona and both times we were very happy with our food. Our first visit we got pizza to go and it was the best margarita pizza we’ve ever had. Tonight we dined in and had the most amazing meals. They were super busy today and were out of some items so we had to change our order but I am so glad we did. The penne ala vodka was the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the lasagna. The server, Harmony, was so kind and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous and now I have lunch for tomorrow as well. We will definitely be back!“

This pizza is as good as any pizza in Avon/Canton and better than several. This is really a carry out place… there is a booth in there, but seriously, take it with you.

We had a mushroom pizza and it was great. Baked just the way we like it. We will be back for sure.“

I recently visited Village Pizza in Bloomfield and it was such a heartwarming experience. I tried the 18-inch Four-Way Family Pizza and truly enjoyed every slice. The idea of four different toppings on one pizza is wonderful, and each section was full of flavor. The crust was perfectly baked, the ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted made with care.

“We ate in during an evening ride on the bike trail. The owner was there and we got to talk with him all evening. He’s been making delicious food there for 31 years and is looking for his retirement exit. But hey the calzone he made was so perfect. Ample crispy crust with a soft doughy but cooked through dough and generous amounts of cheese and other ingredients. I don’t think he skimps on anything! I saw several people enter to pickup their orders called in, and a good mixture of grinder sandwiches and pizza heading out the door.
Pricing was very reasonable and the atmosphere was as to be expected for a small pizza joint with a fryer and griddle. But the basketball tournament on TV held in Kosovo was pretty neat to watch.

“Drove 3 hours to play here because it was on a list of courses that cross state borders, but unfortunately this course had no signage or any information showing the border between CT and MA. The staff was real friendly and the clubhouse was clean. The course was in good shape despite a few traps with hard packed sand. The greens were fast with challenging pin locations. The fairways were in good condition and the rough was just thick enough to be challenging but not impossible to advance the ball. I would highly recommend playing this course.“

“On Saturday, August 16, 2025, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch/early dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The service was pleasant and prompt, the decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Before our entrees, we split the potato skins appetizer. I really liked the crispy skin. (I don't usually eat all of the skin of potato skins, preferring the filling instead, but I ate all of mine from Zanto's!) The Shrimp Scampi Provençal was one of the best versions of shrimp scampi that I've ever had. My husband raved about his dish of Scallops Massimo. I don't know if we'll ever be in that area of CT again, but if we are, we'll go out of our way to eat at Zanto's. 5/5“

“We had reservations at another restaurant in Southwick for 30+ people and were told day of that they could no longer accommodate us so we were left scrambling last minute for a place. I called the Rail trail and spoke with the owner Natalie who was more than happy to accommodate us all last minute. They were completely ready for us a half hr before we arrived.
