“Was very disappointed when we took friends of ours there and told them how good the bread was but when we ordered from Jack was told the bread now costs and yet we were there two weeks ago and bread was offered. Also we had to ask Jack what the specials were and he acted put out. What a change from two weeks ago with waiter Greg who was awesome“

“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

City of Groton, CT I am so glad that I was tipped off about this small spot by a fan because I have just discovered another 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Spot'. I walked into a warm welcome from the owner Margaret, who was also my server and she was such a sweet lady with a great personality. She was so friendly and great with all her customers and I sat there smiling the whole time. Buford's does not have a huge FB following with just over 1k followers but it is truly an Amazing Hidden 💎 Gem breakfast spot of Groton!❤️ I walked in the door ready to eat so I ordered and reviewed a couple popular menu items: 1. Western Omelet w/Home fries & wheat toast $13.00 💣 2. Buford's Big Breakfast w/pancakes $13.20 💣 The service and atmosphere of Buford's is very laid back, comfortable and when it comes to the food they don't disappoint! I started with the Western Omelet and I ate quite a bit of it because it was the bomb 💣 I knew that I couldn't finish all the food so I moved on to those fluffy delicious pancakes with two easy over eggs, Home fries, crispy bacon and sausage patty. It was all amazingly Dope and easily earned a bomb 💣 as well! I had an amazing experience at Buford's and I understand why the fans have shared great experiences dining there. “We visited here for the first time last night and we were not disappointed! The dining room is a bit dark, but it’s nice and tastefully decorated. Our server was Christina and she was great. Very friendly and personable. She was very genuine and not faking it for the job. The food was FANTASTIC! I ordered the famous Bisque Bomb, which was pricey, but worth every penny. My husband had a cup of bisque and the B&B tacos with shrimp, and he said both were very good. If you’re in the area this summer, give Ford’s Black and Blue a try. Great food and great staff.“

“Finally a Wood n Tap near me. Called to reserve a table, guy on phone said I had to go online but had no idea where. I said Open table? He had no clue but did apoligize. Cant do it on Open table but I did look on there website and was able to do it there. Came and it was very busy on a Tues and im so glad I made a reservation. Because we had a reservation we were seated right away. No wait at all. We ordered beef nachos to start and they were good. Then we ordered steaks, spinach/ artichoke flatbread, wings and a burger. I got the flatbread and it tasted just like the dip on bread but it was a tad burnt but I liked it. The steaks were on the smaller sidd and a little overcooked than Medium like requested but I didnt hear any complaints. The wings must of been good because my son didnt want to share which led to some table conflict but my daughter was able to steal one. Lol. The service was slow but expected with this much busyness but she got us everything we needed and she was pleasant. I did look for accessibility for a wheelchair and was able to find some tables in the back and some half booth/half tables that would work. The tables also look accessible being wide legged. Was happy to see that. So many restaurants miss the mark on that one. When I sat down the waitress moved my walker so it wouldn't be in the way. Was a nice evening, busy, tad loud but happy chatter. Id go again. You can go online and see what everydish looks like and you can also sign up for their rewards. So I signed up for a 5 dollar off, showed the code to the waitress and she never used it. Wasnt going to complain over 5 bucks with the busyness. Ill use it next time.“

“First time visit. Totally awesome food. Quiche was phenomenal! Cranberry-Walnut bread (toasted and buttered) terrific. Staff was very friendly, accommodating. They sell mini baked pies, breads and other baked goods on the premises. The restaurant setting with views on the river was perfect. In warm weather, there is a covered deck to enjoy the river view even better. It's open today with Mother's Day specials. I'll be back again soon even though for me it's a 40-minute drive.“

“My wife, daughter and I meet often with our Connecticut family for lunch...with the many restaurants available we keep coming back to The Fisherman. Our regular waitress is Irene and she always remember us and our preferences. The food is good, the view is great and the service we receive from Irene is fantastic! See you again in the Spring!“

“Came here for lunch in our visit to Mystic, got the Gyro and my girlfriend got the California Chicken Wrap, both were excellent, handcut fries were stellar too. Server was 10/10 really nice guy, and they have this pseudo-patio that's technically outdoors, but fully covered and heated, to knock the atmosphere out of the park. I don't often leave reviews but had to endorse this spot for others to see“

“Although most of the time when my grandmother and I visit, not many are there; it's still a nice place to go to. The waitress I had was very kind and energetic/ enthusiastic while we waited. She was also kind enough to try to make iced coffee when I asked! Will say, the iced coffee was worth the order and wished it was on the menu-especially with how hot it has been lately. Quite good food to try there, a good spot to try.“
