I looked up Birria tacos near me and this restaurant popped up. my daughter said they were delicious. i had gotten a steak torta amongst other things lol and OMG 10/10 💯 will be going again.And the customer service AMAZING“

“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

“Was very disappointed when we took friends of ours there and told them how good the bread was but when we ordered from Jack was told the bread now costs and yet we were there two weeks ago and bread was offered. Also we had to ask Jack what the specials were and he acted put out. What a change from two weeks ago with waiter Greg who was awesome“

“We were vacationing in Mystic for a long weekend and Outer Light came recommended as a brewery to stop by in the area and it did not disappoint. Kurt was bartending and was awesome to chat with. I work in the brewing industry in Pennsylvania and was excited to see their set up. He gave me a short tour of the facilities and told me about their brews and cycles. It was a great experience and awesome beers. The vibes were solid, and we had a great time.“

“First time visit. Totally awesome food. Quiche was phenomenal! Cranberry-Walnut bread (toasted and buttered) terrific. Staff was very friendly, accommodating. They sell mini baked pies, breads and other baked goods on the premises. The restaurant setting with views on the river was perfect. In warm weather, there is a covered deck to enjoy the river view even better. It's open today with Mother's Day specials. I'll be back again soon even though for me it's a 40-minute drive.“

“The food was honestly really good. I ordered the bok choy ginger with chicken, my dad had the Japanese curry with shrimp, and my mom got the shrimp teriyaki. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned.

The only drawback was the fruit flies. There were a lot of them, and it took away from the overall dining experience. If it weren’t for that, this would’ve easily been a 5-star stop.“

“My food was delicious. However, I have one suggestion, and an observation. First, back off on the sugar. My beans were sweet, ribs too sweet, the Chinese restaurants around here have taken to adding so much sugar, it doesn’t even taste savory, only sweet. Beef up on the black bean sauce, throw in some hoisin, don’t be afraid to season it. When I go to a Chinese restaurant, I want Chinese food, not Chinese American food. “Chinese” vegetables have practically disappeared off the menu replaced with regular veggies. Where’s the Bok Choi, the bitter melon, the black mushrooms, the closest I can find is a bit of bok choi, bamboo shoots, maybe water chestnuts and that’s it. I don’t want carrots and peas in my fried rice, it’s not right, I want bean sprouts! Ok, back to the review. Good points: hot food, beans perfectly cooked but it said spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all, the Sichuan wonton were supposed to be spicy too. In short, increase seasonings and spices, back off the sugar, and it would be perfect. The food was delivered hot, well packaged and wrapped thoughtfully. Presentation 100%. I will definitely be back to try again.“

“Life long customers but we only would get pizza or grinders, which are phenomenal. Tonight we decided to order pasta dinners and burgers off the menu and we were blown away! The portions are quite generous, the meals were delicious, the soup was perfect, the side salad also generous and delicious. The containers were generously sized and microwavable which is awesome because there's too much to eat in one sitting. Everyone in my home cant stop talking about how good dinner is. The kids burger is a full size burger with a handful of fries, enough for feed 3 toddlers. No one left the table still hungry. Bye bye olive garden. This is our official new pasta spot. Prices were quite reasonable as well. Very pleased!!! We'll done Midway Pizza! 5 billion stars FO-SHO!!!“
