“Delicious food with a decent sized menu. We loved the 1/2 chicken, veggie rice and the empanadas. We finished with one of the best tasting flans I have had. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. They were will to answer any questions we had and explain the dishes.“

“Great food and drink! A wonderful addition to the Willimantic downtown area. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Nice ambience. Only critique - seating is not very comfortable. Barstools don’t make you want to sit and order a second drink, nor do the seats at tables. Hopefully they will invest in better seating as they get established.“

TBP is the real deal type a breakfast spot where ya feel at home w family.... as for the food?Ordered a flapjack home fries n sausage....The pancakes are fatties here and so fluffy good, I highly recommend the mixed berry compote as it was fresh w/a bright pop of citrus n the perfect compliment to the cake...Sausage patty can't miss n thr home fries had great flavor but were a bit way too salty for my taste. All n all I'll def be back as the waffles looked slammin!! “In town for a barber expo from Pittsburgh! Was next door at planet fitness and while we were sitting in the car trying to find somewhere to eat on our phones we saw this place and said lets just go in there! So glad we did! Service was just as good as the food! Nothing disappointed us! True gem!“

“Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.“

“Nice small local Irish pub with a friendly but sassy barmaid I'm not sure if she's still there but let's just make the assumption that if she's not whoever they hired to replace her is not coming up short in the sass department. A man can't get a beer anywhere but he will drive to another town if the sass is strong. A real sass queen will keep the patrons coming back week after week. Men don't need beer they need a sassy woman to keep them on their toes. A man who lacks sass is a man who lacks love and a man who lacks love is lost now go down to the Harp and get some.“

“This place, named after the local stream of my youthful watering holes, is still glorious. The beer selection, which you can monitor on Digital Pour the app, has some tasty selections. My wife enjoyed one of my personal favorites, Back East's Ice Cream Man. I savoured the foggy/hazy Abomination Ale's Wandering Into the Fog.Our server was very courteous and checked in; we nodded our approval of all the meals. My wife had the Salmon Burger, which she pronounced "very good." Son, the magician, made his Fenton Burger and Fries disappear (up his sleeve?) and my Pastrami Reuben was delicious. A lovely meal, made extra special by a son turning 32! Time flies, but time here was well spent!“

“Husband got the Chicken Parm Grinder, I got the stromboli w/pepperoni, and we got some garlic bread w/cheese. My husband makes an amazing sauce, so typically I try what the restaurant gives and trade it out for his, we both used Irene's sauce for the garlic bread and stromboli. He was very satisfied with the chicken parm. We moved to CT just under 2yrs ago and have had some fairly disappointing food experiences - this one turned it around. Will definitely be back!“

“Michelle is absolutely stunning and Josh has such a hospitable personality! I absolutely love Thunderbird café! The food is delicious and it’s about half price anywhere else you can possibly go. There is no amount of stars that could show how satisfied I am!“

“This is a great choice for vegan food. Vegetables are great and there's always rice. It's like going home to eat. There is always something interesting. I can't find okra anywhere else in CT. The beef is so tender! The spices are perfect and not overwhelming. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Portions are large, I have lunch for two days. Yep, I highly recommend Mommy's.“
“Rustic StrEATS catered our wedding this past weekend and we are still getting compliments on the food! Ben and his staff did a phenomenal job! My husband and I want to thank you all so much for your hard work. Ben was so easy and laid back to communicate with leading up to the wedding! We highly recommend them for any event you're planning!“

“The service was admittedy slow, yet adequate. Oysters absolutely perfectly shucked. Brine included, asked for sriracha, was accomodated. Service, lacking. Everything took forever, and as an ex Navy vet and and ex Hells Kitchen chef, was thoroughly disappointed. I tipped definitely sufficient enough. The chicken salad needs salt and onions. Scallops were spectacularly on point and perfectly cooked.“

They have everything from appetizers (wings, Empañadas, and fries), breakfast (sandwich, pancakes, omelets),lunch (burger, grilled cheese, soup), and dinners (bistec encebollado, rice and beans, pork shoulder, platanos). Also dessert (flan, trés leche cake) and pastry (apple Danish)“
“Great beer selection. There were some I just love, and some I don't care to try again, which means something for every beer aficionado. Had a scrumptious hamburger, and a few bites of the can piled nachos. Just great food, plus the staff is friendly and competent. A lovely evening with friendly people.“

“I realized the other day I had not ever had a Legit philly cheesesteak only what I could normally get around here. Remembered this place existed and decided to try it for the first time after reading reviews. I am supremely satisfied, it was delicious. I can't speak to how it compares to cheesesteaks from Philly but its delicious either way.“

“Great place for comfort food, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This visit was for breakfast. I had the Irish Benedict, which is served on rye with their homemade corned beef hash and a side of home fries. My wife had a vegetarian omelet served with rye toast and a side of home fries.“

“I work nearby and fairly regularly get delivery from these guys. Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They always deliver promptly. Their burgers rock! Their fries rock! Their wraps rock! Their salads are awesome and are way too huge for one person! You may not think of this place as a go to for pizza, but their pizza is actually really good (try the steak bomb, it really is the bomb!). I literally cannot think of a bad experience with them. Thanks for being reasonable, consistent and delicious... I'm a fan.“

“Found Herman's through a Google Search while working in the area. It's the perfect homestyle diner with friendly staff and good food. Had the Cheeseburger plate with hand-cut fries, delicious! Diner staff very friendly and there were plenty of local's around to have a conversation with. Highly recommend!“

“First time eating here and it was great. I ordered the fish and chips. It was great. The tarter and slaw were great. Not everyone has good tarter or cole slaw. The spinach dip was great, too. I had never had it like that before. It had its own little twist. I am very happy and will return whenever I'm in the area.“

“Clean and friendly environment. Wait staff very helpful and polite. Wait was a little long but the store was busy. Sat near the kitchen and with in 10 seconds of our food finishing, it was on its way to our table. Meals were hot, most, crispy and full of flavor“

“Fun area to be to pass time by. The staff was nice, the drinks were good. I didn't really like the high tables and chairs near the bar area because I'm short but made it work. Food was not bad at all!Parking: It's located in the casino which is surrounded by a lot of parking so you can easily walk here or park close to the garage it's near.“

“I'm from Texas originally and I've struggled to find anything close to the country diners I grew up going to. Country fried steak is something that is rarely done here outside of cracker barrel, and even more rarely is it done right. But everything here left me feeling like I just went home for a while. The service, the diner feel, the delicious food; I live over an hour away and I will come back to this area JUST for this place! ?“

“I was impressed by this place, the menu has a lot of different choices of different kinds of sandwiches, burgers, main dishes and appetizers along with side dishes and desserts. The place is rustic but clean and well organized. Parking can be tricky and limited but a free parking garage is one street down so if the weather is good it's a comfortable walk. I tried the Spicy Beast Rap and liked it very much, my cousin had the Chicken Tacos and he was very pleased .... Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and drinks and will definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: They have a few choices so you won't go hungry.Parking: Their lot fills up fast along with street parking during busy times but there is a free garage one street down but if raining could be a difficult walk.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp next to the stairs but parking might be tight.“

“The Farmer's Cow Cafe & Creamery is a Windham staple. Situated just outside the Willimantic board, leading into Mansfield. The all-natural beauty offers great ice cream made from local real ingredients. Stop by for some tasty treats or a small bite. The creamery offers sandwiches, soft-served, shakes, eggs, milk, and much more. The inside is small and the line can get packed quickly. But there is an outdoor option where one can sit and enjoy the day. The service was decent and the wait was minimal. Overall 8/10!“

“Had a great experience at the Fat Cat Grill! Had a bus tour of 54 ladies stop in for lunch, prearranged, and Ravi and his staff were on the ball. The place was clean, the food was excellent, and the 2 waitresses worked their tail off. Every one of us enjoyed our food and our time there. They had no problem taking care of women with food sensitivities. I even heard compliments on how clean the bathroom was there. I hope he's still open next year when we come around again! Thanks Ravi!“

“Cozy, historic blue collar place! Sunday around 3 was crowded but eventually got a seat. Food was DELICIOUS! Nachos were topped with a tasty jalapeno relish and were head and shoulders above other restaurants. Around our table we had blue cheese salad, burger, steak, jerk chicken tacos, chowder (it's thicccc) and french onion soup. Extensive beer menu, pretty light on the cocktail/booze menu. No baby changing stations, and bathrooms are tiny! Plenty of parking. Looking forward to returning next time we're in the area.Vegetarian options: Salad. Couple of veggie forward pasta dishes.“

“Went Saturday night to get nachos, I really enjoyed them. Lots of pulled pork, which was very good. You get way too much for two people. I wish they made a half portion. I also really enjoy their chief salad. I have to have garlic ranch dressing.“
