“Harry's Place has long been a Colchester stable for many decades (1925). It's even identified in Martin Podskoch's "Connecticut 169 Club" book, touring Connecticut's well-known favorites.It holds a special place in my heart as I've been participating in an annual gathering at Harry's for several years. Not only is the food and service spectacular (no... I mean REALLY spectacular!), Harry's Place helps prepare me for Spring and my 'to-do list' mindset with the help of gathering with old and new friends. We sit on one of the many available picnic tables or upon blankets on the spacious grounds with pockets of flower gardens to look at. I use this eatery as my starting point for another year's race for time and activities. The parking lot is well pressed down so motorcycles don't have issues of loose gravel. And for vehicles of any size and shape, there are plenty of spaces for you too.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room on the grass for kid's to be kids; and as it has a family feel to it, children are well protected.“

“Customer service was great but girl at drive thru did not speak English very well. I felt bad for her,it must be very difficult to do that job like that. That's the only reason I took one star away. Oh and the prices have sky rocketed!!! That's terrible a medium fry for $3.99! Wth!?!? I'm shocked and appalled at the prices and my medium shake looked like the size of a happy meal drink used to be! I'm totally disgusted! The kid at the other window made us laugh,even though he forgot our straws and sauces. Also the girl who brought out our food apologized for the wait which I was satisfied with. “The best Wendy's restaurant I have been. I a child with a special need. Anytime I visit this location at Silverlane East Hartford CT. The manager and all the employees treat him like a king. The welcome him and makes him feel like home. The manager told me the father to bring him all the time. The price and services are excellent. Recommend this location to everyone especially those with special needs. You will feel welcome. The place is nice and clean. Thank you this location management.“
