“Our family stopped at Marlborough Pizza after being out and about and finding ourselves tired and hungry. We were blessed to get Olivia as a waitress. She was FABULOUS!! Our daughter has severe food allergies and she handled them with such care and professionalism, while also being friendly and funny. She even called the owner at home to inquire about ingredients in something (and he was helpful, too). We couldn't be more impressed or grateful! It's always nerve-wracking to go out to eat with a child with allergies. But Olivia and the entire staff at Marlborough Pizza made it easy and safe, while feeding us yummy food (it's always yummy there). All of the staff was so kind and helpful. You've got a great team there! Thank you so much!“

“We had the Taco Pizza and one of the "12 Grinders delivered last night with some chicken wings. The Pizza was amazing, the Grinder was surprisingly HUGE and absolutely delicious. Huge chunks of chicken, lots of cheese, good flavor!! The chicken wings were disappointing but still would 100% recommend. Thanks for a delicious dinner 😁“

“My wife and I finally got to try HRP. We actually dined there. We tried their famous spinach specialty pizza. It did not disappoint!! One of the best pizzas I’ve had! Make sure to bring your appetite because the large pizza is massive! The people are very friendly! We will be back!“

I saved half for lunch today. The best part? it was JUST as delicious upon reheat as it was last night!!! it wasn't soggy. It did not fall apart. Most importantly, it was so so good!!! “Today was my first time eating here and I'll say right now that I will be back. This place reminds me a bit of a cozy diner.

We took my fiancé's dad here for an early birthday lunch. He was craving their calamari and onion rings and he said they hit the spot today. My fiancé got one of the daily specials (rodeo burger, I think) with sweet potato fries and I got the cheeseburger club plate with onion rings.

Come here with a big appetite, the expectation of a to go box or both! Portions here are very generous! We came home with at least half our rings and fries and I had part of my club sandwich left as well. A good portion of the calamari went into a to go box as well - that will make at least another two meals for my fiance's dad.

My burger club was very good! I wasn't given a choice on the doneness of my burger, but that wasn't a problem for me. My fiancé pronounced his burger as one of the better ones he's had in a while.

This place is very busy on Sundays and they close early (about three p.m. or so.) We did have to wait a little after we were seated for service, but that service was pretty good! Our food was as we wanted it and we got the things we asked for (cocktail sauce, extra cokes, etc.) despite our waitress running herself crazy to and from all her tables.

Prices were pretty decent for what we got (my plate was about $15.95 or so) The menu had a lot of variety - breakfast items, steaks, burgers and sandwiches, and salads. There is also a cabinet full of a variety of cakes at the front of the restaurant and they looked delicious!“

“Food is great, atmosphere is nice, service sometimes spotty, but Brandon is the man who makes up for it! To be transparent, I had been waiting around about 30 minutes past when my food was supposed to be ready to get my order, but Brandon was the only person on the staff who had checked in with me and apologized for the mistake, WHILE he was already busy working on his own things. I wasn’t even trying to bust chops, but I was told another 8 minutes and it became another 20 for the pizza, and then my pasta was forgotten when the other staff initially handed me my order. Brandon held it down and was able to get complimentary carrot cake for my girlfriend because of the long wait, which I appreciated. Check in with Brandon, he’s great along with his service, and so is the food.“

“Tenth Hole Tavern is the best spot for casual dining/takeout this side of Glastonbury. Their food is excellent and the staff really knows how to show the customers a good time. Kendall and Kelly are the nicest and are very accommodating. Not to mention the full bar, expansive beer selection, and wide variety on the menu. Some of my personal favorites include the chicken tenders (with their house made buffalo sauce), the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and the oven roasted turkey wrap. “I came here once, and I was impressed at how they changed the inside. The atmosphere looked great. I have yet to try their pizza, but I did buy their fish and chips, and I was not too impressed. I had high expectations because the former restaurant (Angie's) had fantastic fish and chips, and Angie's will always be a part of my childhood. I realize things change, and so do restaurants. I have heard great things about Hebron Pizza, so I didn't want to knock them too hard after one dish, but I did enjoy Angie's a lot and was sad to see them go. The restaurant has constantly changed ownership, so hopefully, now they will stay as is. If the one meal I had was better or just as good as what I had previously, I probably would have given it a 5. Honestly, if I return and they wow me, I will change my rating here.“

“📢📢Go to Square Peg Pizza! 🚨🚨 Outdoor patio, bar, arcade, indoor dining, event space, catering, and DRIVE THRU!!! Happy hour EVERY DAY 2-6 (buy two drinks, get a FREE small pizza 2-5p, and other great deals). This was honestly the BEST pizza I have had in a LOOOOONG time. For reference, my usual favorites are Mondo in Middletown and Modern in New Haven. Square Peg is at that level for me now. We ordered 1. Bianco + bacon, 2. Pepperoni, and 3. Spicy Margarita and I’d rank them in that order. Probably wouldn’t order the margarita again, but the other two…. No doubt in my mind that we’ll be back for these. The bottom crust was thin and floppy, but stable and not soggy. The sauce was light, not chunky or overpowering. Perfectly sliced meat for a good char but still tender. The edge crust was super soft and flavorful, good char, nice bubbles, not chewy or cracker-y. 5/5 couldn’t ask for anything better (except a golden canoli).“

“Ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was quite delicious. However, even with a longer cook time, it seemed to still be a little soggy(fully cooked but a little soggy). The service was fast and friendly, but if you go to the Colchester location be prepared for the dining room not to open until later in the afternoon, so all patrons were seated in the up front area.“
