My husband had a cup of bisque and the B&B tacos with shrimp, and he said both were very good. If you’re in the area this summer, give Ford’s Black and Blue a try. Great food and great staff.“

“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

I walked into a warm welcome from the owner Margaret, who was also my server and she was such a sweet lady with a great personality. She was so friendly and great with all her customers and I sat there smiling the whole time. Buford's does not have a huge FB following with just over 1k followers but it is truly an Amazing Hidden 💎 Gem breakfast spot of Groton!❤️ I walked in the door ready to eat so I ordered and reviewed a couple popular menu items: 1. Western Omelet w/Home fries & wheat toast $13.00 💣 2. Buford's Big Breakfast w/pancakes $13.20 💣 The service and atmosphere of Buford's is very laid back, comfortable and when it comes to the food they don't disappoint! I started with the Western Omelet and I ate quite a bit of it because it was the bomb 💣 I knew that I couldn't finish all the food so I moved on to those fluffy delicious pancakes with two easy over eggs, Home fries, crispy bacon and sausage patty. It was all amazingly Dope and easily earned a bomb 💣 as well! I had an amazing experience at Buford's and I understand why the fans have shared great experiences dining there. It is actually across the street from the casino in the down stairs of the Golf Club House. Ariana was our server. Friendly and professional. I had the Chicken and Bacons sandwich with Fries for $16.95. Great tasting & well priced. I highly recommend this place.“

“We visited before dinner time on a weekday but they still had a steady flow of customers. The gentleman mixologist working day shift was awesome (I’m horrible with names) very interactive, professional and fun. We moved to a table to eat at shift change and were not disappointed. The fritters were great, sweeter than I like but still impressed with the flavors and appreciated they were cooked through for the generous sizes! Quesadillas were perfect and thick! The surf and turf…. The only thing I could say bad was there was only two shrimp, however they were HUGE and butterflied beautifully. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The portions will never have you saying “that’s all for the price?” You guys are doing a great job! Can’t wait to come back and get deeper into the menu!“

“A culinary delight! I took my family to Oyster Club on a Saturday evening after some shopping in Mystic and had a wonderful experience. The oyster happy hour was fantastic. As a raw oyster enthusiast, I was elated at the quality and price. I had a dozen oysters myself and had to stop myself from getting more- they were SO GOOD! The blackfish I had for dinner was excellent. The ramp hummus was a real highlight. For dessert, we had the maple ice cream which was the most delicious ice cream I have ever had. It was a real treat to come here. You can tell that the food is made with heart and served with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. I’ll definitely be back soon.“
