“Went to La Strega today for lunch. What a great place! Had one of the best deli sandwiches I have had in quite a long time. I had The Annie and I added sopressata. All deli meat was sliced razor thin, just the way it’s supposed to be. Very flavorful. The staff there were super friendly and you felt like you were home! I will return for sure!”

“Got off on Exit 17 cause of an hour long traffic jam on an already bad day. Decided I’ll stop in for some food real quick. The gentleman that was working got up from his seat immediately and was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. It was quick and efficient, my sub ended up tasting great (way better than most of the other subways), and the friendly staff really turned my day around. Thank you guys!”

“Nice cozy little hidden place. Only thing disappointing was the specials which were delicious but since they don't tell you the price, you have a surprise of over $30 for a special plate - nothing fancy - like a chicken cordon blue. Besides that I recommend it.”

“I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . Thanks again !”
