I was really disappointed with my recent visit to the Auntie Anne's location inside the mall. The pretzel I ordered had a surprisingly tough, chewy texture instead of being fresh and soft. To make matters worse, the staff members were unfriendly and acted like serving customers was a major inconvenience.
Not really sure what all the hate is for here from the mall patrons. Stopped here on a road trip. Service is fast and friendly even though I placed an online order at the wrong Auntie Anne’s. I got the Oreo Topped Pretzel Nuggets which were phenomenal. The pretzels themselves were soft and fresh— they clearly hadn’t been sitting in the case for hours on end like a lot of other Auntie Anne’s. Would go again if passing by.
I know from past experiences this isn’t a cheap treat but today was told because they ran out of cups I had to buy the larger size pretzels. I refused and somehow the young man working figured out another solution or perhaps he upcharged me in the end. I should have gotten a receipt but he didn’t offer one either.
