“The food at this establishment is always very good and prepared very well. I like the fact that the food is prepared very well and not over powering with seasonings. It shows me that the owners are very concerned about peoples health and allergies.On your hot spicy sauces, you have a choice of different levels. From no spice to in-between to extremely hot. All food is prepared fresh and you are always greeted with a friendly smile, good conversation and excellent customer service.My only reason for the 4 stars is because they don't deliver. However, the food and customer service is worth the trip. I highly recommend.“

“Authentic dimsum and great service all around. My family and I appreciate the owners coming to check on us and the food orders come out pretty quickly. My favorites are the shrimp steamed rice roll, steamed roast pork bun, pineapple bun, chicken feet, scallion pancake and the yang zhou fried rice! When I’m sick, I also like ordering their congee. Comparative to other dim sum places, I enjoy that their dishes are not too oily and sauces aren’t too heavy. I've stopped by innumerable Chinese stores in NL, Fairfield, and Hartford County (Will admit to not having tried places elsewhere in other counties yet but will admit a personal goal of trying as many places for their General Tso's and Boneless Ribs as possible..) and this particular store in New London and one other are the only two I go to on a consistent basis. Food here is made quickly too!As a lover of boneless ribs - I freakin' love China Express'. Only place in a 30 mile radius that has had them the way I *personally* like them - sauce that's thick and rich, and the right texture for the pork where it isn't too touch to bite. Having consumed about half their menu already, I'm still going to always go for their General Tso / Fried Rice combo with Wonton Soup. The chicken cooked right and sauced generously. Did I mention the gloriously thick sauce used? Get the Lunch Combo asap, now.On a side note, yeah, I love the location and atmosphere. Something about a side entrance and the store looking like it's closed but really isn't with the old-school menu and very nice people behind the counter; I unironically come in here with a smile because this place checks off nearly every box of what tasty, well priced, and well made Chinese food here in the NE area should be.“

“Great food! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. We ordered a shrimp dish with veggies and rice...the shrimp was cooked just right which a lot of places can get wrong real fast. Also ordered the dumplings, lo mein, pan fried noodles, and crab rangoons. Dumplings tasted very fresh and the crab rangoons were on point, not too sweet, just right. Definitely making this place our new favorite to order from!“

Can't say much about the ambiance or physical location since we always do delivery but the delivery folks have been kind and quick each time. I've ordered an entire box of their Orange Chicken AND a Combo to eat for myself because it's delicious.It's in the Crystal Mall, and I don't mind dining in for the 2000's mall food court nostalgia. It's also easy to grab on the way home or passing through.“

This dish is half and half and comes with there unique fried rice. Let me tell you the spare ribs are amazing with an almost caramelized texture and sweetness, they hit the spot every time the chicken fingers are just that chicken fingers but they come with this plum dipping sauce that I’ve only found at this restaurant that is so unique and flavorful. It’s almost a must on everything it’s a sweet tangy flavor, but boy does it compliment those chicken fingers. Now the restaurant itself is pretty rundown. I wouldn’t recommend dining in if you’re looking for a fancy establishment, and if you’re eating in the winter, I would say bring a jacket. Customer service the lady at the register is often impatient, and will charge you even if you are allergic to something and she hast to remove it from the dish which I didn’t understand so don’t come here looking for great service, but the food is still good for Chinese food. I would say they have the best-tasting Chinese food in the area.“
