“I needed a small sushi platter for a get together with my friends. I didn't think.most of the guests would partake I'm the sushi so figured I'd be enjoying it by myself! I was wrong
Everyone ate, everyone enjoyed! The sushi was delicious! I called the night before to pick up the next afternoon. I prdered a platter that they said was for two. But you get quite a few rolls! It's a mix of cooked rolls and raw ones. I ordered a sweet potato roll on the side. You get soup or salad as well. So i got two salads. I paid over phone. I picked up and everything was ready for me. Packaged well, with little dishes for individual soy sauce dipping. The platter had ginger and Wasabi. It was a beautiful spread. Fresh and tasty. The interior was clean and bright. They have a Japanese menu and a Chinese menu. The lady that ha did it to me was so nice. She had settled my order already so I couldn't give a tip. So next time I'm up this way, I will certainly make up for that! What a great eatery.“

“Came here with a family member and did the AYCE for $31.99. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, 3 appetizers, a salad, fried rice, and chicken katsu. I really enjoyed all my food and the staff were constantly checking in to see if there was anything I needed. The value for the price seems to be good if you are ordering a decent amount of dishes.

One thing to note is that they handed me another AYCE ordering sheet only after I finished the first round of food. Also, make sure to not over order as it seems that doing so can incur a charge if you don’t finish your food. However, I left a few small pieces of sushi but ate everything else and was not charged. This is a great spot if you’re hungry.“

“We tried this hibachi for the first time with our daughter. The atmosphere is always fun, entertaining and silly with the throwing of food and egg cracking. Workers are helpful, and the food was fresh. It can get busy. The only negatives I’d say is for one we asked for medium well for our toddler and the steak was pretty raw. Also, the cooks a little pushy on those who kept saying no and didn’t want to take part.“

“One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Connecticut if you love Sushi and Sashimi. The Spider roll made with fried soft shell crab is to die for!! My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

“Just had dinner at Sakana. The food and drinks are always delicious, fresh, and fast! Our waitresss was also amazing - very thoughtful, anticipating needs without needing to be asked and so kind to our kiddo- even giving some kids chopsticks to take home. “This place is a 10/10 for a sushi lunch. My husband and I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed martinis and shared 3 lunch entrees for around $50. Our chef and server were both attentive and friendly. The bar has good chill date vibes. There were some patrons having hibachi on the other side of the restaurant and it sounded like a good time.“

“I went to a Teriyaki Madness restaurant in Handen for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, healthy and fresh, and the best part was the service. The attendants, Chelsea, Amaya and Jenaya were simply wonderful. They helped us choose the best deal and order, and they were extremely friendly throughout the whole process. My family and I loved it and we will definitely recommend it.“
