“Honestly so good. Tried to come on Christmas from the social media posts but yall were sold out of food! The best problem to have. I have been itching to come since, I am so far from disappointed. The staff was so friendly, spoke with one of the owners- he was so friendly and easy to chat with truly wish we could have talked longer! He explained his wife does the majority of the cooking and you can taste how homemade it all really is with each bite. The desserts were also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back- so upset it took me so long to try this place. Will be recommending it to anyone who likes Thai food or even wants to try Thai food.“

“Very nice experience. As a solo diner, ordering a pizza—as recommended—wasn’t practical for me, but the packed parking lot on a Thursday night was a great sign that the locals truly enjoy this place. The process is simple: place your order, then choose a table. A unique touch was receiving a playing card as my order number. I ordered the meatballs and Italian-seasoned wings, along with a house Cabernet. No Spirits here, but great selection of Barley pops and wine however. For an extra nickel, I received a refill token in the form of a casino coin—such a novel idea that I had to play along. The drink service lagged a bit, either because the restaurant was busy or because I failed to pick up my Cabernet at the counter. The meatballs arrived first: three large, flavorful meatballs served in a ramekin with marinara and melted cheese. I chose three meatballs with a side salad instead of four, and it was the perfect amount. The wings arrived shortly after I finished. I chose the Italian-seasoned, baked wings. They were very tasty, although I generally prefer fried wings—though the baked option was probably the better choice for me that evening. Overall, this was a very reasonably priced dinner, and I didn’t feel too bad passing on one of the amazing-looking pizzas. Torrington has clearly maintained the East Coast pizza tradition and reputation. A stop here won’t disappoint.“

The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! The restaurant is small for such delicious food so it is definitely recommended to make a reservation. “We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)“

“Rented a room at this place for my wedding after party. It was the perfect set up, wide open room with plenty of space for dancing and they even opened up the roll up doors so guests could sit outside if they wanted. Had a blast! Staff was very accommodating and even let us stay an hour past our scheduled timing. Very reasonable pricing too. Taylor was great to deal with coordinating this event, she understood our budget range and was able to make it work. Highly recommend hosting events there!“

“This amazing Sports bar restaurant and Pub gets 5 Big Stars.I was really impressed with the delicious diverse menu... great entrees and appetizers to choose... I really like this place. Very personal locals and staff. Upbeat ..friendly vibe... Nostalgic historic decorations along the walls with flat screen TVs. Interesting artwork with a lot of history. Adds a nice flare as you look around. Very tastefully decorated... I would definitely come back and have brunch or dinner and just chill out... This is a very classy place in Torrington“

“This small town either gets a place that thinks their gonna rule the world and putter out in 3 months, or they get a lasting addition that warmly welcomed into the community. This seems, and is hopefully, the latter of the two. The guy that was working the counter was patient, professional, and welcoming. He accommodated customers who had no idea how or what to order with that type of food, and adjusted flawlessly to those of us that have traveled and know what we like. I really appreciated this place, a chain that doesn't feel like a chain. Great experience.“

“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

“I was in the area and decided to take a chance and Grab a cup and char pepperoni pizza. let me just say, if you're from the area you are lucky to have this close by. The pizza I had was absolutely delicious. 8.6 from me on the pepperoni. The Buffalo didn't do it for me, likely because I tried the Pepperoni first and in my mind nothing was going to compare.“

My son is the pickiest eater but after watching the chef my son started trying things and ate things he usually won’t. I was shocked! The food and the entire experience was top notch! We can’t wait to return. Don’t listen to petty people who like to complain. This was our second time and it was well with the 45 minute trip. “This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“

Friendly staff and food is brought out nice and hot French fries are nice and crispy and portions and are a good size enough to bring leftovers home .“

“We arrived to some nice scenery outside & the decorations inside are beautiful, the staff were so nice! The food was delicious, and we were not rushed at all. The greenhouse is so toasty with heat, not uncomfortable either! Our waitress, Allie, most loveliest person I’ve ever met, you could tell she is there because she enjoys people. Absolutely will visit again! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, all excellent!“

“If you are looking for a traditional Chinese takeout joint in the area, this is it. Everything from your youth is on the menu and it's as delicious as you remember. I've lived in the area for 14 years and never gave the place two thoughts. It will be my go-to moving forward. Is it fancy, no, but the food is excellent.“

“This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food) The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!“

Whether it’s the firecracker chicken, lo mein, or General Tso’s, everything is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. It’s an old-school spot where the owner still works the front, greeting and seating guests with a smile. Feels like the kind of place that’s been doing it right for decades.
