“Every now and then I get a craving for a chicken cutlet sandwich. I have a deli less than a mile from my house, very well known one. But I always forget their cutlet is not good - very grissel-ey and just, yuck. This time I did not forget and tried something new to me. And boy oh boy was it delicious! I ordered online, switched to provolone, add mayo and waffle fries. Chicken was crispy and hot, and fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft inside. Staff was very kind, as they should be. Pricing was typical, but better than other places. And they got the whole online order correct! Overall, A++“
“Hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches around. And for a solid price. The cheese is always nice and melted, bacon not overdone, and egg perfectly cooked, even the roll might be lightly toasted. I appreciate there hard work and consistency !! Way to be chef !“
“Love the pizza here - more a NY style, always reliable and tasty. Margarita is especially good, loaded with basil. A good local family business worth supporting. (Ignore the couple of one star reviews, which appear to have been left by grumps who just serially leave one star reviews.)“
“I usually come here at least 1 time per week to get the amazing chicken cutlet however I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and it was hands down the best burger I have had and also the most affordable in town not only are the staff welcoming and really nice but they remember you and always greet you with a smile this place deserves the world“
“After driving by this place for so many months, I finally decided to stop it. It was worth the trip. The food is delicious made fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even the other patrons were very friendly smiles on their faces overall great atmosphere great food great prices worth stopping and take a visit.Vegetarian options: I’m pretty certain that you can have any of the items substituted on their menu to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle their tuna fish is absolutely divineParking: There is tons of parking there’s handicap parking right at the door parking is a breezeKid-friendliness: The spot is very kid friendly. They have lots of different options that kids would enjoy grilled cheese, bagels, egg and cheese tuna sandwiches absolutely delicious. They also have lots of pastries on the shelf, pastries chips, macaroons, various various brownies things that would entice a child to eat there.“
“I've been a regular at Nardelli's for a couple years and have never once had a bad meal. It's always phenomenal and service is always excellent as well. I've had half their menu and would recommend any of it, but in particular I'd recommend the shaved steak and cheese, the barbecue bacon chicken and the pulled pork sandwiches, as well as both their seafood salad and macaroni salad, and any of their parfaits and cheesecakes.“
“Best breakfast sandwiches in the area. Honestly, I rarely go for lunch but they've been a cornerstone for a solid Egg and Cheese sandwich for me as long as they've been around. Prices are great too and definitely appreciated in this day and age.“
“The people working there are very nice and on top of that the food is very good. We got our food in probably 4 minutes so they are definitely fast. I had the Bacon egg and cheese and so far that's the closest thing that reminds me of O'Neils Bacon egg and cheese that was in bethel. Sense they closed during the pandemic I've been looking for a new magical sandwich and this is where I'm at. I look forward to going again. The only down side is the look of the place but if they get enough business maybe they can improve that. Again appearance wise it doesn't look welcoming but give this place a try. You won't regret it.“
“Great old school German deli with all the fine German meats that I grew up with! Not another one around like it. If you're looking to prepare authentic German meal for your friends and family or just want a good old-fashioned sandwich on German bread. Check this place out. It's the only one of its kind around, love it!“
“Been going here a few times a week for lunch, wish I had tried it sooner. Their food is delicious no matter what you get. Everything always tastes fresh. Now we have trouble getting lunch anywhere else because it’s nowhere near as good. If it’s not on the menu they will do their best to accommodate assuming they have ingredients needed. Also worth mentioning that the entirety of the staff is always upbeat, happy and welcoming. Go there enough and they will remember your order and your name. Great atmosphere here and absolutely worth giving them your business. Give them a try , you won’t be disappointed.“
“By far the absolute best place to start off the day with the most amazing breakfast sandwiches around within the whole tri state area and probably beyond that!!!!! The owner is such a wonderful person and I’m lucky enough to live less than a mile down the road!!! If you have never been GO YOU WILL NEVER GO anywhere else for breakfast sandwiches again!!!“
“Love this place. Fresh meats, cheeses, delicious prepared foods and a small selection of Italian ingredients to stock your cabinets. Great place to grab a quick sandwich or buy your picnic supplies. They are always so nice here and have that "locals" vibe.“
“Delicious! I’d suggest calling ahead during lunch because they get busy with a lunch rush (good for them!) Everything I ordered was ready in the time they told me to come pickup. The few one star reviews tell more about the person who wrote them than the business itself lol! Will be going back.“
“It stopped here to grab a breakfast sandwich, which is actually better than I expected. It’s one of the better bacon, egg and cheese, on a hard roll sandwich I have had in a long time. This thing was loaded with bacon! I saw them making an Italian combo, and I will be getting that next time I come here for sure. Prices are reasonable and the ladies working here are nice.“
“I ordered an egg salad on rye, lettuce tomato and mayonnaise. I was SO pleasantly surprised and impressed. They handed me a huge, perfect sandwich! Thanks for thinking to quarter my tomato slices. Good idea. Mess free. The deli was busy. Service was quick!! Friendly, smiling, polite servers!!!Yes! I will be back!! ?“
“I made a fairly quick pit stop at Misty Vale Deli & General Store to grab some lunch yesterday afternoon on the recommendation from a buddy of mine who said the Sizzling Sirloin Sandwich is good, which it was. It was a good deal too. I also had a bag of Deep River Jalapeño chips to go with it. Those were a little bit pricey, but the sandwich offset the cost a little. The have many, many great sounding items on the menu. This place is always very busy, so I knew it would be good and worthwhile stopping in.The people who are running it are nice.Bottom line; I’m glad I went there.“
“Bacon egg and cheese with double meat and a hash brown topper. It was very tasty although i asked for a Portuguese roll, i think that is there style of one?, not the kind i like though, I will just get it on a regular roll next time. The prices are very reasonable. I think this spot will be the new go too. $2.50 for a bacon egg and cheese before 10am i believe. I also tot a Philly cheesesteak grinder for lunch another day and it was really good“
“Cute little deli with amazing prices. My bacon, egg and cheese was very good, if not very big but the price was right! There are a few bar seats and tables to sit at but it's all fairly rough. They have a couple of picnic benches outside surrounded by flowers. Coffee was good but they have only one size - large. Service was fast and friendly.“
“Not only was the 2 sandwiches I had the meatball then my kid took it so I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and omfg again amazing. I about to get that cute girls number so I can eat there every dayVegetarian options: U can pick what goes on ur subParking: It's nice“
“Delicious food, prepared with care. Arepas were a great discovery for me. In addition to selections from a standard deli menu, they also offer a hot lunch daily: a couple of entrees, plus differing starches (beans, rice, potatoes) and often plantains. Very reasonably priced.“
“Unlikely to find this great deli unless you look deep into a rather unimpressive strip mall. Deli offers a large number of sandwich specials and the usual deli fare. Ordered a corn beef and Muenster cheese that was fresh and tasty. Couple that runs it are friendly and seem to follow Covid guidelines.“
“Pignone's Redding Ridge Market and Deli is a general store and delicatessen that opened in Redding, Connecticut in 1835. The historical establishment has passed through several owners over nearly 200 years. From 1952 - 2009 it was owned by the Bethel-based Caraluzzi's Supermarket chain. An electrical fire shut down the establishment in 2009 and it stayed dormant until 2011 when it was purchased and reinvigorated by Jordan Wright. He sadly passed away from bone cancer in 2016. Since 2017 it has been owned by Nicholas Pignone. Aside from their grocery sales, the market prepares fresh meals everyday. The deli (which carries Boar's Head products) produces a wide array of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, tacos, breakfast items, baked goods and ice cream treats. My family and I recently stopped at Redding Ridge while we were visiting friends in Redding. When lunchtime approached, our friends recommended getting takeout from the deli as it was just down the street. Walking inside Redding Ridge was like going back in time. Old-fashioned general store/delicatessens like this are a dying breed. The place seemed to be a favorite hangout for locals. A customer could get prepared food to go, but they could also go grocery shopping here. Some of their prepared foods looked excellent. After looking over the menu, my wife and I decided to order and share the "Helen Keller" (chicken salad, bacon, Vermont cheddar, oil & vinegar, lettuce, tomato, onions on a sub roll) and the "Coach Morros" (grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar, sun dried tomato mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions on oven-baked Italian bread). Both sandwiches were excellent; great bread and really fresh-tasting ingredients. We would definitely order sandwiches or other prepared foods from here again!“
“Very good food and variety for fast bite on a fully cooked home style dish really liked the foods taste and some nice treats for a sweet tooth after meal i recomend it for people that want a bite besides a sandwich but they also a good sandwich menu.“
“This establishment is a staple of the town of Bridgewater and for good reason. Aside from the historical significance of the building itself, the food is always delicious, pricing fair, staff genuinely friendly, and atmosphere welcoming. We always feel like we are visiting family when we are here.During warmer weather, there are several tables out front for a nice view of the Town’s main thoroughfare. They stock a generous variety of the mouthwatering Bridgewater Chocolates (of course!), and their store has some light food, treats, and odds & ends. There is also an area with home goods and gifts - all really nice quality.I highly recommend Bridgewater Village Store & Bistro for a tasty meal, or as a spot to stock up on some food and drinks for a road trip or drive around town.“
“Great Service and delicious food. I ordered two 3 foot sandwiches; Italian combo, and Italian turkey, what a hit , absolutely outstanding. The bread was fresh. My only regret is, I did not order a third sandwich just for me, lol, but excellent customer service, and guidance.“
