“Recently went to Bobby's to dine in. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly server. Shortly after we sat, she was there with menus and taking our drink order. She was friendly and attentive during our entire meal there.

For dinner, we ordered the Montana pizza as well as some garlic bread. The pizza was really good! We enjoyed the crust and it was very generously loaded with chicken and the other toppings. The garlic bread was good, it just had a bit more cheese for my taste.

The prices were reasonable and the service was good. I would definitely recommend Bobby's and return to try other pizzas.“

It’s like having a personal restaurant on your lawn. The pizza was fantastic -THE BEST- actually! Frank made me a gluten free pizza with potato, bacon & carmelized onions. Oh my goodness! It has to be the BEST GF pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Super thin, well cooked! I can’t say enough good things about this pizza. He made all types of pizza. “My son and I went today for lunch. I have been wanting a pistachio martini since I saw it made from the happy bartender with the huge smile. I didn’t get her name but see her on the Christos fb videos. Did not disappoint was delicious. She is a great bartender and a wonderful waitress l. We sat in the bar area and it was enjoyable as it wasn’t loud and the table gave us plenty of room for our meal. Brussels Sprouts were delicious as always I had a Cajun wrap and my son had a huge salad loaded with chicken and avocado 🥑 I remember Christos when it was in the plaza and the food never disappoints. I also enjoy the daily family specials text to me. If you haven’t signed up to get the daily specials text to you do it. So many great meals to pick up and bring home. There’s two different specials. Every day lunch and dinner. Give Christos a try if you haven’t been you won’t be disappointed. I live in West Haven but my son is lucky enough to live in North Haven and pick up from Christos on his way home from Westport.“

“I have been ordering takeouts at Il Forno for the past seven. I started with bacon and onions pizza which was great. I then changed to eggplant pizza and it has to be the best I have ever had. Now I have moved on to shrimp marinara with linguine and I can't tell you how great this dish is. The shrimp are so large and fresh and the sauce is excellent. The filet of sole must weigh at least 2 pounds and my husband gets it every week. The filet is enough for two meals and so is the shrimp. Thank you Il Forno for making our Friday takeout a special treat.“

Between New Haven & NYC styles. These guys use quality ingredients and it is reflected I. The end product as well as the prices, which are slightly high, but absolutely worth it considering the quality. In addition to great pizza the wings at Whitney are amazing. Huge, meaty, super flavorful, FRESH wings are very hard to avoid.
They are open super late (between 1-3am while school is in session at The Q. Primarily takeout & delivery (they have a couple of tables and a few barstools), however the place is very clean. Even the restroom is glistening.

If you are traveling on the Merritt or I-91 a pit stop at Whitney pizza is the pro move.“

“Had a craving for New Haven style pizza. It was ice storming so allot of places were closed, but I was VERY happy with Branford Pizza! Crust was suuuuppper thin, crispy at the top, foldable with excellent sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Very reasonable! Also ordered a ruben for the next day and this did NOT disaapoint! Even with reheat, it was DELICIOUS! Very generous corned beef, tangy sauce, plenty of kraut & cheese. FILLING! Came wrapped in foil so super easy 2nd dinner . Will absolutely order again. “I honestly am ashamed to say that I’ve lived in East Haven for 22 years and have never had Tollis pizza. Some friends and I were getting together and we were talking about restaurants to go to, and I had mentioned that I had never tried Tollis. We decided to give it a go. And I have never been happier with a decision ever! We had the white clam pizza, we had the Amalfi pizza. And I couldn’t decide which was my favorite. My friends had the Bolognese sauce, which the waitress brought a little bowl so they could try it with some bread before they ordered their entrée! Nice touch! It was fantastic! Our waitress was super attentive, very friendly, we were near where they were making the pizzas and it was fun to watch. An all-around great experience highly highly recommend.!!!!!“
