And the last few yrs we spent half the yr in Madison and half in north branford ,and in Madison we think GRAND APIZZA is the BEST in the state ,and luckily we founds Bobby's which can compete with any or all of new haven apizza , we go to Bobby's once a week and it's excellent pizza ,they also have very good stuffed breads , 2 weeks ago we actually sat in and ordered and the food seemed better perfectly cooked and the sausage is by far thier best add on .but if u live near or on Rte 80. U have to get a pie from Bobby's and thier service is on point u order a pie or 2. It's 20 min so take it from me u won't b disappointed and if and when u take my advice pls come back here and give me a review hope u all have a special time and take one of ur love ones to dinner and go to Bobby's“

We use the Big Green Truck every year for employee appreciation day. Each year they amaze us with their awesome customer service and delicious food. “I kind of stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad I did !!! I have been here approx 4 times and every time the meal has been delicious, from the very friendly waitstaff. Every time I have been here we have ordered the hot antipasto which included two baked stuffed shrimp, two stuffed mushrooms, and two clams casino, along with the appetizer came a warm basket of homemade bread with butter. We had the New England Clam chowder and it was perfect I had a veal dish with mushrooms and prosciutto over noodles. Perfect did I say fresh mushrooms my brother had the zuppe di pesce, which he totally enjoyed. He got it without the calamari and another basket of warm bread. If you're looking for delicious Italian food with a very friendly waitstaff this is the place to go. I almost didn't write this review as I don't want to see the place over crowded lol but it's well deserved. We were there last night and will be back again. Very cute place inside“

The pizza is always fantastic and no matter what pie I order I am always delighted with the exquisiteness of the pizza. I believe their Margherita Pizza is the best one I have ever tasted. “I have been coming to East side pizza since I moved to that side of town in 1995. The best pizza in town.... Possibly the state. I have since moved to the West side of town, but still remain a loyal weekly customer. I pass by numerous other pizza joints to happily go to my favorite pizza place. They serve a Greek style pan pizza. I love just their plain cheese pizza, but I am older and usually red pizzas no longer sits well with me. I normally get a white pizza with eggplant, bacon and ricotta.(my absolute favorite) Or white with meatball and onion. The brothers that own the place are very sweet and always take good care of my order. They are teaching the next generation and I am hoping I will be able to continue getting great food for the next 30 years.“
“I found this place purely by accident but I'm really glad after passing it I turned around and went in. A real feast for the eyes, loads of choices. I bought a box of cookies, a bit pricey and unfortunately I myself never got to try them. What I did have was the Panini Meatball, it was fantastic. The gentleman that waited on me, possibly the owner, was very friendly. As I told him, I will definitely be back for more, and maybe even get to try those cookies!“

“Easily accessible and in walking distance of the New Haven green. Got brussels sprouts and a large pizza. The brussels sprouts were cut and fried in a unique way I had never seen before but it was quite delicious. “We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!“

“This is my daughter’s (age 6 as of this review) favorite restaurant. We take her occasionally as a treat and sometimes meet up with friends. My daughter has been fighting the flu and after days of not eating much she asked for butter noodles from Cozy Corner. At the time we were coming home from her pediatrician. I called up and asked if they wouldn’t mind bring it out for me so I didn’t have to get my daughter in and out of the car since she is sick. Plus, I really didn’t want to bring her inside. “I have been going to Benny J's for years. It's hands-down my favorite for a grab and go salad in Branford. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there - eggplant parm, subs, pizza, fried calamari. Pizzas are cooked to that perfect crisp without burning. Salads are always generously packed with fresh fruits and veggies. The only downside is that it's a really small place so seating is limited. However, the location is right in the center so you could grab food and walk right to the center to eat Al fresco.“

The Penne Alla Vodka was fantastic with perfectly cooked pasta, a sauce with the just the right balance of cream and zesty tomato, and a good amount of large, tender shrimp. Made the deposit to book time/day online and Kelly followed up a few days before with the details. Our 50 guests raved about the pizza! Sadly, we were so busy I forgot to take pictures until the last minute but it was a beautiful display too! These guys were punctual and professional! They have their own wooden tables attached to the truck to set up which is so helpful!! And what better way than to end with Gelato and cappuccinos/espressos! “My other favorite pizza now. New haven has ruined pizza for me because it's so good and Pacileos is part of that. Their pizza is amazing thin crust and absolutely delicious. What I like about theirs over other new haven pizzas is its bigger more filling so im not as hungry. But it's also more affordable. And the staff Is sooo nice! Even though our pizza was delicious the best part of our visit was how they kept my son safe due to his food allergies. The staff with a special thank you to Ashley ensured his pizza was free for his allergens. Ashley not only brought out our pizza but she also shared that she too has food allergies and understands how serious they are. The restaurant was clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful!
