“TLDR: very friendly service, tables are packed together, super casual atmosphere, tasty Korean food. They do not accept AMEX or Discover.I went here as a solo diner on a Friday afternoon, around 1PM. The place is a lot more casual than expected which isn't a bad thing, just not what I thought it would be. The restaurant is split into two sections, one with tabletop bbq grills and other side with bar seating where you can see the sushi being made and a few tables beyond the bar seating. I didn't really like that set up as I thought the tables with the grills were so close together. I was seated at the tables with the grills. The banchan was good, although I did not eat the mushrooms and broccoli. Not the best banchan I had but definitely not the worse.I ordered a kimchi pancake as a starter. I thought it was a little over fried but based on pictures I have seen this is the way they do it. It was tasty. I didn't finish it as I wanted to leave room for my main dish.I ordered the Beef Soon tofu aka Spicy Beef Tofu Soup, mildly spicy. I was disappointed that they didn't have a pork option as this is my favorite. It came out sizzling. I had forgot to ask for no egg and I was dismayed to see that they had already put the raw egg in. Each time I have ever ordered Spicy Tofu Soup, the egg has always come on the side. No matter, I fished out the raw egg out and proceeded to eat the soup, which came with a side of white rice. It was tasty. They do not accept AMEX or Discover. I think this should be noted on the website but for some reason it's not.The service was very friendly and attentive. I would return here again to try more dishes.“
“I notice and tried this place about a month ago and was surprised at how good the food is. The wings crispy and flavorful. Also had the Japchae with shrimp, great taste & sizable portion. When calling in the order the staff was friendly & confirmed the order back for verification. I've only done take out from here so far. Given it's set more like a take out place with very bright lights and stark interior.“
“I got a classic dog and classic egg toast with garlic bread and oh my goodness!!!! it was THE BEST egg toast I've ever had! compliments to the chef!! thank you for a great experience! the dog was good too but the egg was the highlight of my meal!“
“If I could give more than 5-stars I would! Not just for the food, but the best service ever and the reason we will be going back there is all because of Kimmy, she does everything by herself there and was outstanding and just a very special person. We will ABSOLUTELY be back and this is now our go-to date night spot without a doubt!“
“This spot was absolutely amazing ! Super fun place to hang out with friends or have a date night with your significant other. The food was super yummy. I had the Korean Menu dumplings & rice bowl. Very tasty. Great place & great vibes.“
“Short version: bb.q Chicken offers top-of-the-line Korean fried chicken with perfectly fried Korean chicken and ample portion sizes. The menu includes chicken sandwiches and traditional Korean sides for those looking for something aside from boxes of fried chicken. The restaurant is clean with courteous staff, though the generic taste in Kpop background music might not suit everyone's taste.Full Review:I cannot recommend bb.q Chicken highly enough for its exceptional Korean fried chicken. This restaurant truly sets the bar for quality and taste, consistently delivering a perfect fried chicken experience. The chicken is perfectly battered and fried to crispy perfection, making each bite a delight. The menu offers a variety of options, including sandwiches and traditional Korean side dishes and appetizers, catering to a range of tastes. One of the standout features of bb.q Chicken is the portion sizes, which are generous without being overwhelming. Each piece of chicken is of the highest quality, ensuring a consistently perfect dining experience.I have experienced bb.q Chicken through dining in, ordering takeout in person, and using a delivery app, and I have never been disappointed. The staff are always courteous and efficient, providing excellent service that enhances the overall dining experience. The restaurant itself is clean, well-staffed, and has a decent decor and ambience. While the background music tends to lean towards basic K-pop music and K-dramas rather than more cultured Korean artists, this is a minor detail that does not detract from the overall dining experience.bb.q Chicken earns a well-deserved 5-star rating for its top-of-the-line Korean fried chicken, excellent service, and overall dining experience. Whether you dine in, take out, or order delivery, bb.q Chicken is sure to exceed your expectations.“
“Awesome! The food here is absolutely fantastic, and the prices are some of the best in Milford. The menu is huge, and has tons of different options...Chinese, Korean, American, fusion dishes...there's something for everyone here. Legitimately my new favorite Asian restaurant in the Milford/Orange area, and I can't wait to go again!“
“Me and my FWB went here for lunch and it was so good. Our server Gina was really great. We stay in New Haven all the time so we're going to come here next time as well!! I got a combo and she got rice we ended up sharing because the servings were big and it was FIRE!!!“
“Food was excellent, service was incredible, our waitress was so kind, and the decor was gorgina.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were solid.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone in our group was disabled, so I’m really glad they were able to accommodate that.“
