“A culinary delight! I took my family to Oyster Club on a Saturday evening after some shopping in Mystic and had a wonderful experience. The oyster happy hour was fantastic. As a raw oyster enthusiast, I was elated at the quality and price. I had a dozen oysters myself and had to stop myself from getting more- they were SO GOOD! The blackfish I had for dinner was excellent. The ramp hummus was a real highlight. For dessert, we had the maple ice cream which was the most delicious ice cream I have ever had. It was a real treat to come here. You can tell that the food is made with heart and served with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. I’ll definitely be back soon.”

“Just enjoyed amazing cocktails (Gimlet and Curry Barbados) and Nosh (mushrooms had amazing flavor, Korean fried chicken sandwich, salty and delicious, empanadas crisp and yummy) from their Happy Hour menu which is being expanded from 4:00 to 6:00. On Tuesday starting at 6:30 or 7:00 is a jazz quartet which we sadly had to miss but will definitely be back. Our waitress Claire was darling and very informative. Bartender was spectacular!”

I wanted to find out if this spot was any good so I ordered Sausage Gravy over biscuits, a side of Grits and a cup of Coffee. The big question is, "Is this spot a great place 👍🏾 or is it a Dud 👎🏾?" Well... This place is Off the Hook!! The atmosphere and the service is amazing!! I was served a delicious meal and kept entertained at the same time!! “ALL THE STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered food for pickup tonight and I could barely make it home without tearing open the bag because it smelled so good. But let me back up, I was greeted by the most friendly folks when I walked in the door who not only had my food packaged and ready to go but chatted with me about ordering options and gave me samples of their drinks, the mango drink is to die for! When I got home I was taken back by how huge the portions are! Our sandwiches were easily the size of two regular portions. We had the Tripleta sandwich and the Cubano sandwich with sides of fries. The pulled pork on the Cubano sandwich was so juicy and tender and the bread was perfectly grilled. We also got a beef and a chicken empanada and they were huge! The sauce was a little spicy for me (I’m a spice wimp) but my husband loved it. I’m so happy I found this place and it is now a local favorite for me.”

“I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we just had at this place. we went for brunch today. the three of us decided to try the bloody specials they had.. all truly unique. one was Italian with meat and cheese. there was a seafood one with ceviche and shrimp cocktail and the last was one with 2 large pork bellies on the side.. amazing!! we ordered 3 different entrees so we could all share. the smoked salmon frittata. wow! smokey..light.. creamy.. so perfect. next were chicken and mushroom crepes. holy crap! unbelievable!! the last was a steak sandwich where the beef just fell apart! outstanding! my friend had asked about a menu item that had been previously on the menu that she loved and they went out of their way to make it for us!! our dessert was a mimosa with purple corn and cinnamon.. unlike anything I have ever had before! A perfect end to an amazing meal! I can't say enough good things about this place! thank you! and I can't wait to come back for dinner!”

“The spice palette is very welcoming, great customer service, staff patient with menu questions and suggestions. Our dinner was selected from the vegetarian/vegan menu and did not disappoint. Portion size is perfect as we like options. Also great for sharing. Our selections easily fed 4. half of our dinner was taken home as it was too delicious to leave behind. “Everything was Great!! I walked in expecting good service and good food and I walked out a happy customer. I ordered the bbq and the j*** sauce wings, It was amazing!! I was actually licking my fingers because the sauce was sooo good. I must add the decor was beautiful. Herb's Country Deli Restaurant is an Amazingly Dope spot that has instantly become a top contender of Top 3 Best Breakfast Spots in the Southeastern CT area! At the same time they have also earned a 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Review'. I walked into a very warm and inviting welcome from the Owner's daughter named Ellen. She was so sweet and even introduced me to her father, Herb's who recently turned 95yrs old about a week ago. I was welcomed by the whole staff and I had such a wonderful server named Dawn! She is truly the Best!! Thank you Dawn! ❤️ I can keep going on and on about how great this spot is so.... Let me continue. The atmosphere is perfect. You get an instant nostalgia experience dining in an amazing family owned restaurant a few tables over from the wonderful man named HERB who started it, now retired, enjoying breakfast with a couple of his family members ❤️ I seriously could not stop smiling the whole time I was there.😁 That was truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had on my journey thus far. ❤️ Let's move onto the food, I ordered and reviewed a few things: 1. 2 slices of Blue Banana Bread & The Elvis- Banana, Chocolate & Peanut butter (comped to try) 💣 2.
