“I had my son’s baptism reception here and the owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The food was amazing and was out and ready to go when we arrived. The staff who took care of us during the party were so friendly. It was the perfect atmosphere and I’m happy we chose this restaurant to host such a special occasion. Highly recommend!“

“Phenomenal pizza! I drove down from upstate ny & I have to tell you that was hands down the best pizza I have had since my childhood pizzeria in ct! I actually travel a lot and have had pizza all over ny & ct and I had to show restraint and save some for the family at home -nothing to me is better than true Italian made with love & from scratch pizza - true comfort food 😘 you simply have to try it for yourself and you will thank me for recommending this gem of a pizzeria! “Tried Gaetano’s in Stratford for the first time- hands down the best authentic Italian deli in Connecticut. Everything was delicious, from grinders, cheeses, meatballs, chicken dishes… freshly made. Not to mention the free samples of anything you want to try while waiting. The staff is super friendly & makes you feel like family. Wish I lived closer- I’m hooked!!!“

“A wonderful family spot for dinner. Visited here many times with friends and family and we tried a wide variety of dishes and everything was among the best food I’ve ever had. I asked for spicy—but not overwhelming—and they nailed it perfectly. The staffs are incredibly professional and took the time to explain the dishes to me as a first-timer. I’ll definitely be returning—regularly.
While I spent a bit, the portions were generous and I had plenty of leftovers. In my opinion, the prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Fair to recommend them.“

“This is a family favorite!! We love the protein shakes, the açaí bowl and you absolutely must try the southwest gyro wrap or chicken gyro. Consistently fresh, healthy, reasonably priced and they have take out items in the fridge that are homemade. Highly recommended!!!“

“My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. I wanted to enjoy my guests and my daughter’s achievement without time limits or oven timers. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself. Thank you Destiny and DiBella’s for allowing me to enjoy one of the most special Mother’s Day ever. 🙏🎓🌟🥰“

“Pretty good tacos, I had steak and cheese and carnitas, my friends got ground beef and queso and my boyfriend got the longanizas taco combo. This steak and cheese one is very American flavor profile, carnitas is very traditional Mexican flavor profile and the longaniza was not that spicy. The chips are really good, super thin, crispy and a little bit greasy but really good. The salsas are good, the queso was good but not spicy at all. They have Mexican sodas, Coca-Cola and jaritos. The restaurant is really small, there were two other groups of two in there and we could all hear each other's conversations. It's very tiny, but the staff is nice and the tacos are good.
Vegetarian options: There's decent vegetarian options, and you can ask them to modify most things. We get things modified there all the time. Most of the time it's done correctly, but if you stress that you have an allergy or that you're vegetarian they will make an effort.
Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has an onion allergy and we have ordered from there bunch of times, most of the time it's correct and when I have had to ask them to remake something because there was onion in his dish, it was not a problem.
Parking: There's a small handful of spots in a free parking lot, you can also park on the street, but it's a little ways down and you'd have to walk because the side street has a family dollar right next door so you have to park on the other side of that if there's no spots in that tiny lot.“

The place was packed, on a Sunday late afternoon/early evening.
The vibe was very "family dinner" and that's exactly what we had.

“HOD is a tragic attempt on a neighborhood bar. The food is gross and service is shotty at best. They are out of a multitude of food and beverage items regularly. Sandra the owner is always drunk, sloppy, and looking for a hand out. Her staff too. There is zero reason to ever patronize this establishment. Save yourself the aggravation and possible food poisoning and keep driving. There are plenty of great places to stop in the neighborhood“

“Finally tried this place after living in town for 8 months. It was totally fine and hit the spot. Solid pizza. Super friendly staff. We got a half plain, half pepperoni. I’d go back and try some of their special pies at some point but overall it was pretty good.“

“Went last night and it wasn’t that bad, the food is def really good. Staff are attentive and nice. Go with their recommendation on dessert! My cider was little warm but I figure since it was on tap then it can’t be refrigerator cold. Over all I’d def go back for the food, I’d try and different drink and probably have dessert somewhere else.“
