“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. Thank you Red Lotus from an amazing experience and phenomenal customer service.“

“4 of us had dinner last night, food was excellent! The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta, tender eggplant and delicious sauce. My husband had sausage & mushroom pizza. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! Lol Service was super, empty glasses and plates were removed after we finished. Cozy atmosphere, nice music at a good volume. I highly recommend the place! <3“

“We tried Riverdale Diner because we happened to be in the area and wanted a sit down breakfast. Even on a busy Saturday morning we were seated right away and our meal came out not long after. Delicious food and great service! (Try the California omelet, and get the potatoes!)“

“First time ordering here but we were all tired & no one wanted to cook & this was nearby. I was scared to order after reading some of these reviews. But we were all pleasantly surprised. Yes it’s standard Chinese fare but it was good. There was a lot of meat in every dish we ordered (Lo Mein, chicken chow Mein, pork fried rice, sweet & sour chicken) and it was perfectly cooked. I didn’t care for the fried wontons but everyone else liked them. Wonton soup had plenty of wontons and was yummy. Loved the sweet & sour chicken - very lightly fried so it wasn’t heavy & dull. We all voted we would go here again.“

“Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. Next time i know not to come right when they open up.“

“Living in Shelton for many years but first time here-very good Chinese food for a reasonable price-we had spring rolls wonton soup shrimp with lobster sauce and the triple seafood-all good. We did takeout. Will return.“

“My husband and I have always enjoyed the cuisine and atmosphere at Marketplace but most importantly we have a go to server named Amy who is not only one of the most personable and kind servers but we feel as though she has become a friend. We love her and as far as we are concerned, she is the reason that we will continue to frequent Marketplace in Shelton. Also, the newest manager whose name is Linda is very professional and efficient and the kindest of any manager that we have encountered.“
