“My husband and I used to go to this place ALL THE TIME OVER FOURTEEN years ago for lunch when we lived in Connecticut. The food was always amazing. It was always so consistent so we stayed coming back. And the staff was always friendly and profesional.
Needless to say when we flew back to Connecticut last week, we had to stop by here.
To my Pleasant surprise the place had not changed a bit. They did upgrades they painted it looked beautiful. But it was still the same place that we used to go to. We ordered the same thing that we always order which he orders the crispy duck (it is amazing) and I ordered the chicken and broccoli. It is amazing.Again to my pleasant surprise, the food tasted exactly how it did 14 years ago. I was so happy!!!! You guys have to try this place. It's amazing. The food is worth the money. Bari has us returning to eat at Olive garden again. Tasty and on time enjoyed the neverending pasta and soup and salad with bread sticks. Time was about 6 pm in Saturday night. Resurant was clean and kitchen ran smoothly. Large parking lot was almost full.“

“Lisa has developed a unique and delicious vegan burger that this unlike anything else on the market anywhere. While many other veggie burgers are high in carbohydrates and/or fat, the Beastie Burger is high in protein and low in fat and carbs, and it tastes fantastic. Even my friends who are not vegan or vegetarian love them!! I always have some in my freezer and I pull them out and make them whenever I need a quick, satisfying meal that tastes amazing. “Some of the best American style Chinese food I’ve ever had. The level of flavor was out of this world, especially on the orange chicken that had a ton of fresh orange peel slices in the sauce. The beef lo mein and even the vegetable fried rice were also standouts in terms of flavor. They’ve gotta be adding a ton of MSG to this stuff but I love every bit of it“

“Ordered: slice of cheese pizza and a meatball sub with fries. I have been wanting to get pizza while in Connecticut and finally made it happen. I enjoyed my slice of cheese and wished I had gotten more than one slice. The meatball sub made me forget about wanting more pizza. Excellent toasted bread, the meatballs were sizable and the sauce and cheese were good. If you follow me then you know I like spicy so I’d recommend getting a cup of hot sauce to put on your pizza and to add to the sub, but even without hot sauce the food is great! The fries were crispy outside and a nicely cooked soft inside. I would recommend to all, they also have a regular restaurant aside from their vegan menu as part of their business so if you bring non vegan friends they can have whatever they want. “We went to Micro Creamery this weekend and it was delightful! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the ice cream. Good customer service is hard to find these days! The ice cream was delicious! They had several flavors to choose from. It was hard to decide on just one. The atmosphere is modern and cute! You can take a selfie pic with family and friends by the Ice Ice Baby back drop. Def recommend! We will be back! 😊“

“We recently attended a New Haven high school reunion at Lost In New Haven Museum. The Olde World Pizza Truck was hired to serve 70 people. The food and service was excellent. Everybody in attendance commented how good the experience was. The staff was friendly and professional, serving different pies on a timely basis. The salad and Gelato was a nice added touch. There was plenty of extra pizza for the people to take home. All trash was cleared, no extra work. I highly recommend this company.“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

There was always an allergen-friendly option, which was just barely catching on back then. My husband would have soups delivered to the hospital if he couldn’t have lunch with me in person. However, Alisha was beyond incredible. She was attentive, caring, patient (I take a while to read the menu) (it's a problem), and always there when we needed her. She made me feel like I was her only table on a busy Saturday morning, even though I could see how busy she was you'd never tell by her service. The food was fine. But Alisha was exceptional. I don't think I would have considered returning, but having her as my server, they can definitely expect me again (as long as she's serving). Very diner. I've never left a review before, but she was so incredible it had to be known.“

You can also ask them to make you a custom stir fry wok dish---just ask! This is the best option for Chinese food in this area (Derby / Valley). It's in the level of Lao Szechuan in Milford, but a smaller menu.“
