While many other veggie burgers are high in carbohydrates and/or fat, the Beastie Burger is high in protein and low in fat and carbs, and it tastes fantastic. Even my friends who are not vegan or vegetarian love them!! I always have some in my freezer and I pull them out and make them whenever I need a quick, satisfying meal that tastes amazing. bakery and I’m already planning my next trip back. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and love !!
The cupcakes red velvet birthday confetti and carrot pecan and the lemon loaf
were perfectly baked, not too sweet, and just the right texture. You can really tell they use quality ingredients! Thank you so much for the warm welcoming to Stratford and I will definitely be coming back for the lemon loaf !!“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “This review is for the Danbury Location. I have been going there 5-6 days a week for past 5 +/- months. I had a routine. Order on the App. Coffee protein drink and either a wrap or salad. Always greeted with a smile and thank you when I walked in. The price was good for Always having consistant quality with the drink and food. Made the way I wanted it. Fresh, never wilted lettuce and ingredients. I knew what I was getting and always the same. I stopped going to other places around area because I was sick and tired of my 1/2hr lunch break eating garbage, never made the way I ordered it, or getting the wrong order in bag. Unfortunately, my job is over in the area and I don’t live anywhere near there. So I just wanted to say Thank You, we had a good run……“

“4 of us had dinner last night, food was excellent! The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta, tender eggplant and delicious sauce. My husband had sausage & mushroom pizza. Nice crust, just enough toppings and again, that sauce! Fried calamari was tender & crispy. 6 nice size shrimp in the cocktail. If I had anything to complain about it would be the cocktail sauce was a bit wimpy for my taste. More horseradish, guys! “I am a germaphobe and this place was CLEAN. The bottles of condiments and syrup were free of drips. I really enjoyed my extra crispy bacon (no burnt spots), pancakes and breakfast burrito. The diner coffee was good. The service was great and bathroom tidy. There are two stalls if you are larger than 5'5 and have some body on you wait for the larger stall.“

“I’ve been once and it was awesome but my second time back, my husband and I had a horrible experience. 1-2pm on a Saturday in JUNE, there was ONE waitress (who was lovely) but took forever because she was waiting on other tables AND bartending. The food was horrible, (second time around) & was undercooked. The only thing we enjoyed was our 1 beer and 1 glass of wine. I hate to say but I don’t think we’d give it another shot unfortunately. Too bad it’s a great location and close to home.“
