You feel like a part of the family once you walk through those doors - make sure to taste the lamb special (my all time favorite!!) - it’s the owner’s grandma’s recipe and OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! (I don’t even like lamb but THIS dish is ABSURDLY delicious!!!) pay special attention to the huge pink pen at the register - haha my company pen!!“

“One of the best restaurants in Newtown, and around CT. Only thing that would make it better is make the filet mignon and a fish dish a staple. It's done SO WELL there, that it needs to be on the menu every night. Don't switch it up that much. People want to come back to enjoy what they know is there. “What a pleasant surprise! After a search on Google Maps for a restaurant with vegan options, we made a detour from our road trip to the Catskills to stop at this Middle Eastern restaurant. My husband and I shared a VEGAN Mezza Special (12 plates) for two: Hommous, Baba Ghannouj, Tabbouli, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Falafel, Luby (Green Beans), Spinach Pies, Foul (Fava beans), Moujadara (lentils), Mousakaa, Fattouch (salad), Olives. We have dined in other Lebanese restaurants in the US and in the Middle East, and we both agree that the quality of the food in this restaurant surpasses them all. We were served by the owner Maha Hanna, who told us that her husband is the chef who created our delicious meal. We will most certainly be back whenever we are in the area!“

My wife and I split Brussels sprouts which were delicious. My wife had the chicken under a brick, which I tasted and was delicious. What disappointed me was my entree of veal. It was cooked to my order and was very tender, but had little flavor. I had expected more since it was relatively expensive. We finished the meal with a Nutella mousse which was quite tasty.“

When I read the bad reviews, I shake my head at how unreasonable people can be. Think for a moment you are dealing with the public, and they are all different some are nice people some are rotten to the core, while I feel sorry for them, it is sad when they try to make trouble looking for some form of compensation or something more nefarious. “We were unaware of the business hours and walked in 10 minutes after closing and were told that they had just closed. As we were turning out, the owner went above and beyond and still offered to make us the two bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches we had wanted. The owner was extremely kind and we had great conversation with him. He told us this would be the best bacon egg & cheese we would have and he did not lie! The food was very good. He even gave us an additional crumb cake on the house as well. Overall experience was 10/10, we appreciate it very much & will be back! “
