“This is a nice little Thai restaurant tucked away in a small strip mall. The service was excellent. A number of the staff welcomed us as we entered the restaurant. They also all said goodbye and thanks for coming on our way out. I had a red curry dish that was delicious but my wife’s wide noodle chicken dish was not very tasty. I would certainly go there again and try something different.“
“Great food and attentive service. The restaurant itself is clean, nothing fancy but they do have beautiful bonsais adorning the entrance.I got the Spicy Miso and it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice for flavor and an enjoyable kick, served in a large portion in the perfect temperature. It was so good I forgot to take a picture.“
“Lately we been trying a lot of the noodle/ramen places in the area, and this is one of our favorites now. It's in a small plaza hard to miss if you're not paying attention, but it's definitely worth the trip if you're in the area. Broth and ingridiants were top notch and the prices very, very affordable. The young lady who was there was very nice, polite, and attentive. Overall, it was a good experience, and we will be back.“
“What a great spot for ramen in New Haven! We’ve always heard great things about Menya-Gumi and weren’t disappointed. You can tell everything is made fresh in-house, especially with the gyoza, because it was packed full of pork! We really enjoyed the shoyu chintan ramen, and I thought the egg sando was like a perfect combo between scrambled eggs and grilled cheese. The karaage don bowl was tasty too, and it was nice that they had boba tea and cocktails here too. Friendly staff and all of the food came out quickly, and the restaurant was very clean.“
“Excellent food. Tastes like it's made with a lot of care and love. My daughter moved her boba. Said it might have been the best she'd ever had. Gyoza was very good. Ramen was good, not quite what we were expecting though. Golden hot was the best.“
“My friends wanted to meet up and had picked out this ramen spot. I ordered the spicy beef ramen with marinated egg, and a bowl of edamame... both were superb.I didn't take a picture of the edamame, but it was prepared very well and had a wonderful taste. Seemed like it was pan cooked with soy sauce and garlic maybe. Either way, it was very good, and I enjoyed my ramen as well.Nice little spot that was a pleasant surprise. The edamame alone would have me return and try a different entree and maybe some sake in a beaker, in the future.“
“A beautiful restaurant with nice interior. Delicious food with various Japanese food selections. I love their special roll selections and how they serve it with beautiful presentatio. Ramen was great too. Octopus ball is good, but little bit creamy for me.“
“First of all, Min is the man! Made our experience exponentially better by taking care of us.Second, the ramen has never disappointed in the roughly three years I’ve been going here. I gravitate towards the vegan options but I’ve had their non-vegan broths as well and they were stellar. A lot of places make salt soup and call it ramen. Not the case here. Flavorful and fulfilling. We also got the katsu and that gravy SLAPS! There’s a sweetness to it that is just barely noticeable but works well with the savory umami.“
“I was visiting Yale university and stayed nearby. I wanted to eat something healthy and found this place. Walked in and I was totally happy with the atmosphere. Very clean, spacious and so much of options to choose from. I got the sushi burrito and it was amazing. Perfectly made and tasted so good. It was wrapped very well and the tea was great too. Addition to that, you have the chance to spin the wheel (if your purchase is over $25 or more) and get some prizes. I got a nice keychain which I was already planning to buy. The customer service was great and they were very patient though I took my time to order it. Will definitely visit this place again. Overall, it's a great place if you wanted a quick healthy bite. ??????“
“Great flavor and attention to detail, large sashimi portions, and fair pricing for the quality and quantity. My only critique for my visit was that the fried oysters were boiling hot inside, and I was given no warning. So I burned my mouth a bit. Additionally, the assorted sashimi had a couple duplicate items in it. I would have liked to see each 2 to 3 piece portion as a different fish to taste. Other than that, I think the best thing was the sashimi portions being double what I typically see at a sushi restaurant.“
“My favorite restaurant! Since the opening of this Ji Bei Chuan, I come here once a week on average. I have taken every friend to this wonderful restaurant and we all love here.Friendly and considerate team. Good value and delicious food. The manager lady always remember I don't eat green onions, even if I forgot to mention sometimes. She can even tell my voice over the phone! I love her so much!Today I took a picture of dry chicken noodle (~$12 before tax) halfway when I was eating. I don't eat much spicy so the waitress lady kindly put the source beside, therefore I can easily add source to what I need.Don't hesitate to come!Parking: Easy & free parking. You can find extra parking behind the building.“
