“I’m a frequent guest at the Chopt in Bishop’s Corner, and it has become one of those places that is genuinely worth the drive from Southington. I brought my mom there recently for her first visit, and she was more than satisfied too.

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms, and I have never had trouble finding a place to sit. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they keep the line moving without making the whole thing feel rushed. Online orders have also been ready promptly in my experience. If you are new to Chopt or not quite sure how the ordering process works, the staff is happy to walk you through it or explain the different options without making you feel like you should already know what you’re doing.

The salads are huge, the food is consistently good, and it is a healthier option than most places in the fast-casual category. This is coming from someone who never really understood the point of salad, let alone salad as an actual meal. Chopt changed that for me.

The drink selection is another plus. Instead of the usual wall of sodas, they offer iced teas, lemonades, and other drinks that tend to be on the lighter side, often with some less-common flavors. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Squeeze Chiller.

My mom enjoyed her first visit. Chopt has become a regular stop for me because the food is dependable, the portions are substantial, the place is clean, and the service is consistently pleasant and efficient.“

“I’m not sure why there’s poor reviews here. My wife and I went one time and had a great experience. So we will try it more and update our review, but so far we had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing, and I do remember the person preparing our food was very kind and polite. We sat outside and I do remember they had a nice option of low sugar / no sugar added iced teas and lemonades.

“Panini was good but the accommodation to me being celiac (Gluten free) was great! They switched to new gloves without asking and when they accidentally touched regular bread they made a whole new panini without even asking. They also wrap the panini in tin foil before pressing. One of the best gluten free experiences I’ve had for a fast food-esque restaurant!“

Infinitely higher quality than chipotle at a similar cost. Of note, my burrito was a little on the liquidy side, which made it slightly messy. “Ordered the chicken parm. The owner was very busy but very nice and thanked me for being so understanding and patient. The chicken parm dinner itself is a fantastic portion size for the price. I was going to get a garlic bread and the owner told me not to because the chicken parm already comes with it. He could have just let me order it and made extra money but instead he wanted to save me money. Definitely will come back here again when I’m in the area.“

“I got the beef with egg noodles and it was absolutely delicious The meat was so tender and so flavorful I would come back here and get it again 100% The young lady who sit behind the counter was absolutely amazing super nice and she should get a raise.
