“We were craving ice cream so I went on Yelp! Everything was a million miles away except Mel's Creamery. So after reading the reviews I was confused. So completely different. But it was the only option close to us so we took the risk. SO GLAD WE DID!Unlike other reviewers I found the place to be super clean and so 50's it was so fun!!The young lady waiting on us was nice though a little shy. I ordered a banana split and my friend a strawberry sundae, ( we like the classics). She started making mine, or what I thought was mine and asked if I wanted hot fudge and of course I said yes! Then as I was watching her I realized it was my friends sundae, my friend can't eat chocolate. So I stopped her. So got confused. So to save her embarrassment I just said to make two Strawberry sundaes one with chocolate fudge and one without. No big deal. We thanked her and left to eat them in the car. BOY DID I NOT MISS THE BANANA SPLIT!! Both our sundaes were FANTASTIC!! Every bite we said "yum!" Out loud!Highly recommend! We're just going to order one at a time in the future.“
“We hired Pompelmo Gelato to cater dessert for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. Melanie was kind, professional, and excellent at communication. We went in to the shop for a tasting and were blown away with how delicious all the different flavors were. We had a hard time narrowing it down to only four flavors. The gelato cart was adorable and a huge hit to all our guests.“
“Best breakfast in the area! This cute little store front has you feeling like you’re back in the 50s. Counter service and three small booths. Breakfast lunch and ice cream is all they serve. Great small town feel as well. We love this place and will definitely be back! Highly recommend the smothered home fries.“
“This place is absolutely phenomenal! I work across the street and a bunch of us order lunch here at least twice a week. They have the best burgers I have ever had, and their fries are SO good. Their hot chocolate is made from scratch, and while it does take a while to prepare, it’s some of the best hot chocolate you’ll ever have. I absolutely recommend this place, everything is perfection. Oh, and make sure you get the Thai-Chili sauce on your french fries. It’s made in-house and is so friggin good!“

“Line was very long but they worked so fast that we barely had enough time to decide on what to order. They also mate our orders pretty quickly. Place was freezing inside. You can sit inside but they have 3 picnic tables. Parking lot is big and lots of customers stay in their car. Plenty of parking.“
“This little Mystic gem has the delicious ice cream creations around! I had the PB & fudge sundae and my wife had the caramel lovers sundae. OMG delightful! The ice cream is fantastic, the service is quick. Not a lot of seating and it is always packed but the line moves quickly. It gives you time to make the perfect choice. The ambiance is cute, like a country ice cream shop. I love good ice cream and this place knocks it out of the park! A must try and you won't be disappointed!“
