I'm from NYC/LI and have been to many many Asian/Chinese restaurants in my life and Harvest House makes the best Hot and Sour soup and Asian/Chinese food that I have ever eaten. My wife and I travel from Norwalk for this superb Asian/Chinese food. The restaurant is family owned and the owner is the Chef and his wife and children are often at the restaurant making it a very nice and warm atmosphere!”

Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so creative and tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.”

The staff is friendly as hell and you could catch a race or any type of game on the TVs inside also there outside dining is wonderful. “I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly towards bikers.”

Ordered pick up through there app. One sandwich I ordered was no longer available and I had to make a change when I arrived. They did have that sandwich ready relatively quickly. “food is amazing guy taking the order great and always gets the order right on first try. the cooks get the food cooked to perfection everytime and gets the order on the road fast, always faster then they say will take which leads to the only negative part where the delivery driver refuses to get out of the car and come to door and will leave if not out there within 2 minutes of her show up. if I could I give a tip to the guy that answer the phone and takes the order and tip the cooks but the driver that refuses to do their job fully I can't justify giving a tip so tip can only be the change and always pay with change never being more the $0.99. so to sum it up would recommend this place to everyone just if possible skip the delivery and just dine in or pick up yourself, but definitely 100% this a place everyone needs to try least once”

“On the Sunday before New Year’s day, Wednesday, I went into the bakery to personally ask if they were opened on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day and if they could fulfill an order for quiche pies. They said they were opened and they could be picked up on New Year’s Day morning. I ordered a few quiche pies and a few stuffed breads and paid for them in full. Today on New Year’s Eve I received a phone call informing me that they will not have the order ready for pick up on Wednesday and then I can pick it up on Thursday despite my specific needs that I expressed to them in advance. The staff was indifferent to the problem that was caused. I asked for owner to call me and I was told he was John Chaves. I didn’t hear from him for a few hours and I resigned myself to them not resolving the problem they created. Later in the evening, after considerable time to purchase the ingredients to make the goods at the last minute, I received a voicemail that the bakery would have my products baked and ready for pick in the morning as was originally determined. Although I never spoke to John Chaves, I suspect that he was instrumental to make good on the promise of having my order prepared as originally planned. Thank you John. I gave a 4 star only to because of the hassle, time and money spent to have an alternative plan but the food was great as always. To other customers, when the bakery staff doesn’t resolve a matter that is the fault of the bakery, call the owner! It appears he does care which is refreshing in this day and age. To the bakery, don’t change the arrangement with the customer after you excepted the sale.”
