“Layout is definitely geared towards adults with high tables and tight spacing. Solid wine and beer selection. Every since they expanded their menu a while ago you'll find something to enjoy. Desserts are also homemade a delicious. Service experience is very dependent on which server you get.“

“We were early for our ferry and looking for a bite. My partner grabbed a grandma slice with fresh mozzarella and a vodka martini in a frosty glass. I got a cold antipasto, which wasn’t on the menu but they were very happy to oblige. Service was swift and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I took my salad to eat on the way to Pt. Jeff. Great place. Everything from the bread to the gelato is made in house.“

“I drove 2 and a half hours down I-95 from Boston to check this place out. I was pretty apprehensive about the whole thing, but it ended up being worth it as the small pizza was almost as big as the large. The pizza plus the orange juice ended up costing $13 and the employee that greeted me when I walked in was so sweet I wanted to give her a hug, though I made her a little nervous doing this. The combination of the pizza and the orange juice was perfect for the pill I had to take as well! My waiter Chris came and took my order with a clipboard and even let me eat and told me to have a bite while he got my review. He even had a full camera crew filming me while I did it, meaning I was going to end up being on TV! I might have gotten a little too horny with my review though, as I might of came off as a dishonest dirty person to him lol. He was so nice though I even offered him a slice of my pizza, but he politely declined. After I ate, I got a police escort to get the full story as there were about 14 cops that saw my review and wanted to know if I was serious about it. I told them this pizza was so great, that if I ever got married, it would be at this place where I would also sign the contract. I didn't get to go back to this place for about 30 months afterwards (no reason behind it) but I never forgot how great the food and experience was! My friend Sonny Derek Porter will tell you how great it is too! Totally recommend it to y'all! This pizza is worth going to prison for!“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! “One day driving by I saw a huge sign advertising their sourdough crust. I have Hashimoto's so sourdough is better for my digestion. I never even knew this was a thing, probably because it didn't matter until recently. That made me decide that I needed to try it, and I'm glad that I did because it was delicious. “I don’t typically leave reviews and I will always recommend Colony Grill as it is my favorite pizza! However, the past few times I have ordered from Milford colony it’s like eating a tortilla- tonight I ordered there and the pizza was even thinner - the quality of the pizza has been going downhill for a while now yet the quantity of toppings available have been increasing. Please, stick to what you know and bring back the amazing pizza I know this is. Paper thin tonight, not a lot of sauce mostly cheese and my pizza wasn’t even sliced. Very disappointed - but I refuse to give up on Colony!“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality.
