“Service was outstanding. Owner explained specials walked around visiting customers making sure everything was great. Started with shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. Moved into the scallop dinner and wife had a pasta dish oh and the homemade soup then dessert all food was incredible can’t say enough good about this place“

“My husband and I love this place. It is a one person operation, not a place to go if your in a hurry. The food is great. The proprietor and the customers are friendly. You get a real homecooked breakfast. Great lunches and phenominol corned beef and cabbage in March.“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

“Tenth Hole Tavern is the best spot for casual dining/takeout this side of Glastonbury. Their food is excellent and the staff really knows how to show the customers a good time. Kendall and Kelly are the nicest and are very accommodating. Not to mention the full bar, expansive beer selection, and wide variety on the menu. Some of my personal favorites include the chicken tenders (with their house made buffalo sauce), the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and the oven roasted turkey wrap. Don’t sleep on the brick oven pizza either. Tenth Hole Tavern has earned a special place in my heart❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! On the pricey side given what you're getting and it'll definitely take a while to get on a weekend because of the crowd. Staff seems burnt out for sure and we've had some missing/wrong food. “I’ve been going to 2nd Bridge for a few years now and it’s my favorite spot in central CT by far. Not only are the beers delicious, but it’s truly a “Cheers” environment where everyone not only knows your name but also every story you’ve shared before. “We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. “There are car cruise events happening throughout the week throughout the warmer months. Cruisers hang out Sunday mornings for Cars & Coffee events and then on Monday nights are car themed nights. There's also open Cruise Night events on Thursday nights when every car is welcome to show up.“

Jazzmalie brought our order to us in the drive thru line, read through our entire order to make sure they got everything, gave us wet wipes (so thoughtful!), and even grabbed some extra salt packets for us when we asked. I definitely recommend trying it more than once though, since some of their dishes are better than others.“
