“The old town is one of the only bars i will probably ever give 5 stars. this place feels like home. the bar is all old dark wood filled with carvings of all the generations of the town. ample seating is available always. bathrooms are clean. decent draft for a dicey bar. pool tables are free on mondays! and a new pizza place is available monday through friday that is great. service is incredible, bartenders are kind and personable always. this is the best spot in our area and i'll grateful to have been introduced to it“

“We had a party of 3 so tried everything on the menu and we loved it. The roasted squash was probably the star of the show. All of the entrees were nicely sized portions and well executed. The butterscotch pudding was great. Service was also top notch. Angie took great care of us and I would request her great service next time we come in. This concept is truly special and I hope it flourishes.“

“I luuuuvvvv this place. They have monthly specials (check their instagram) that are illustrated on a chalkboard near the counter. Their service is fast and you can order ahead on their website if you're in a hurry. However I recommend hanging out to absorb the vibes. I love all the paintings on the wall and the secret-eyeball-tree sculpture reminds me of something out of Meowolf. Plus the baristas are friendly and always ready to recommend a drink or new flavor in stock. It's also the only coffee shop whose merch I constantly drool over, just so fun and tongue in cheek. Try the matcha, you won't be sorry!“

“Our meals were all very good. Our waitress was very friendly and good. It was very crowded and ordering, getting drinks and so on was rather slow but I'm sure it was due to how busy they were. The pop-up dinners they have been offering are an amazing value for delicious food.“

“This is one of my favorite places!! The food and drinks are amazing — the chopped salad is my go-to! They have tons of classes for all ages on top of being able to pop in and paint something any day of the week. They also have a small business market one weekend a month May-October with tons of awesome small businesses including jewelry, pottery, floral designs, stickers, paintings, soaps, teas and tinctures, permanent jewelry, clothing, candles and so much more. “Came in with my son today for the first time. I tried the Samoa latte and it was the BEST latte I have ever had!!! I tried the Caprice Panini and my son had a BLT panini both loved them and the Crêpe was amazing!! We will definitely be back. Love the cute decorations with all the ????“

“Where do I begin with how fabulous I find Sunberry!? The food is always on point I’m obsessed with the Korean fried chicken- it’s always hot and super crispy with an amazing sauce that‘ll have you shamelessly licking your fingers. The bartender Moriah is the bees knees, she’s always crafting up spectacular cocktails. The creativity and mixology knowledge she possesses is out of this world. She’s one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met, and I gallivant all over Hartford. They always have something going on and are the heart of Pratt street. So if you’re looking for a place with rad music, great food, exciting cocktails look no further!“

“My favorite coffee shop ever! Which is saying a lot because I love coffee and have visited hundreds! Everyone that works here is so kind we love coming here as a fav neighborhood spot on the weekends. Their coffee, lattes, etc are unmatched the quality is incredible. Especially during these winter months, there's nothing quite as sooth as their spicy mocha to start the morning.Their sandwiches, whether they are for breakfast or lunch, are phenomenal and always made with fresh baked bread and bagels. You always get your money's worth! For the last two years, I've been going to their little café pretty frequently. I've even used them for catering for a project at work. “Have you ever heard the saying of a hidden gem? It's a cool rainy morning with no sun, only grey clouds and 2 other customers walked in before me but disappeared. The host offered seating anywhere. One side had a fíreplace, and the other had a preferred spot that gave a 360 view of everything. Interestingly enough, conversations were private and the only time I awoke to the delicious smell of food was when my order arrived fairly quickly. “My brothers, husband and I went for lunch at the Hartford Road Cafe in Manchester, CT. Outstanding food, great beer - they even had great non-alcoholic beer for my brothers. I had a lovely Sauvignon Blanc and Sheppard's Pie. One of my brothers had Sheppard's Pie too. My other brother had a Chicken Wrap. My husband had a Turkey Club. He loved it!!! The server was very kind, attentive, and helpful. The portions were generous and delicious. We had a very good time there. We'll back back soon!“

“I just had THE best spinach pie ever! I’m partial to our families homemade banads but I can’t resist trying spinach pies when I see them in bakeries… I’m always disappointed… usually I find them watery, flavorless and the dough soggy. Well all I have to say is Subby you hit a home run! The spinach is seasoned beautifully, the sausage excellent flavor and the bread was just the right thickness. I warmed it up in the oven and almost ate the whole pie…kept going back for more slice. The bakery is quite a distance from us but it’s definitely worth the trip! MZ“

“This is one of my top 10 places, I have ever been. When I walked in I felt a very calming atmosphere and overall friendliness. It is a small space, with five tables and a bar that seats at least six. The service was friendly and genuine. She had a great smile and was super attentive.The pricing is crazy good and the serving can feed two people, if not take home for leftovers.I had the tuna melt on sourdough with American cheese.What I really liked is that the tuna salad was just tuna and mayonnaise. You can add tomato or onion or lettuce, if you choose, but I generally like a plain tuna melt.You can always add a side for a little bit extra. But I chose to have a small bag of chips and a pickle.The friend who met me for lunch, had a roast beef sandwich and it was stacked high with more of a pink roast beef and looked so good!!She verified it was excellent.I ordered a Lyman's, which is local, hard cider.My total for the meal and drink was $17.50 and I tipped $5.Parking is in the back, you pull into the Dunkin' donuts parking lot and drive to the back- right side.I will definitely be back.“

“It's not a coffeeshop, more of a place where you can grab some food, pastries and coffee. They were able to make a cappuccino late in the afternoon while all the coffeeshops were closed, and it tasted pretty good! I also tried their passion fruit dessert, it was great!“

“Had a wonderful lunch here about a week ago. The prices are reasonable but what's more important is the meat portions. Depending on which server you get you'll get your money's worth. The woman gives way too much rice and lil meat. The food is delicious though no matter what you get. We ordered the oxtails and a small curry goat.“

“10.15.23 my 1st time here, random stop. Lots of parking. The venue is small and cozy with various areas to sit in whether you're solo, on a date, with friends, in a group. I didn't eat, just grabbed an Americano. Staff was friendly and coffee was hot. Hope to be back soon to try other items.“

“The drink I got was slammin. So good I came to write a review. I got the iced mocha delight, which is like an iced coffee/frappe sort of drink. It literally tasted like a milkshake (my favorite) but better. I went in because I saw the word "mocha" and thought it'd be a chocolate store. I came in and the lights were dim and realized it was a coffee shop. Lots of different coffee beans available to make your own coffee was nice. But this damn drink was so god damn good. I'm so impressed. God dammit.“

“We seem to get lucky and find parking right in front. Street parking. Never had Thai Ice cream before this past year. Pretty cool how the cream freezes and gets rolled into a pretty desert. Nice variety of toppings and combinations. There is indoor seating. One small table as well as a few stools along the window. Cute place.Parking: On street parking down town. “I’ve literally been to a million bars and I can say I’d never felt so safe or welcomed. I was at a birthday party this weekend and it was off the chain The wonder was super chilled and inviting and the bartenders made me feel like I was family. I will never look at another bar the same again !!!“
