“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“So this is definitely a small town local watering hole buuuuuuuut… the minute you walk in, whether you’ve been a regular for 20 years or it’s your first visit to the eagle you will feel welcomed by staff and patrons alike. The staff is top notch (and honestly a great steal for the locals to enjoy in the cocktail mastery of this place)! Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Gorgeous old house with fireplace. The home made clam chowder is a such a surprise - best we have had since we were children in Mystic !“

“My parents had a gift certificate and decided to take a ride. To their surprise under brand new ownership as of today, July 2 2025. Gift certificate was graciously honored. Pot stickers and French Dip ordered were said to be amazing and the Chicken Marsala take order to go, brought for me, was one of the best Chicken Marsala dishes I’ve ever had. A must try!! “There's something special about the old burger stands. And the men and women who work them!! Every time I come to Toms the food is great, service is friendly- regardless of how busy they are, and they are fighting this cold before us all to get there before us so we can have a delicious HOT breakfast or lunch 😋 I can't say enough good things about this classic burger stand“

“I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch bite between college visits. I think it was the owner or manager who took time to welcome us and let us know about the specials and what was worth ordering. Everything was made to order, very fresh and tasty. The Veg Chili and Clam Chowder were a hit. Wish we had more time to enjoy our meal.“

“I ordered a cheese steak and a six pack. I am new to the area, having just bought land and I am very pleased with this place. They took a bit long, over an hour, to deliver but I am satisfied. They included a bag of chips, and a pickle! I'm not even a fan of pickles but this was crunchy and tasty! The cheese steak was excellent! Also it was still hot by the time it got to me! I asked for the cheapest six pack and they brought me Narragansett light. I have never heard of this beer but it is refreshing and enjoyable! I am only giving your stats because it took a bit longer than expected but seeing as I only ordered a sandwich I can understand if they saved my delivery for last. In the end I got a hot delicious sandwich and cold delicious beer. I will add them to my phone book right away!“
