“No atmosphere although a few formica tables where you can eat but mainly take out. Steamed dumplings are terrific and really enjoy the beef and broccoli. People there incredibly hard working and polite. The House Special Soup is delicious and really a bargain as it's a full meal in itself.“

“Excellent food! I picked up hot and sour soup, an egg roll and shrimp and broccoli today. The soup was excellent with a spicy kick. The egg roll was so crispy but not greasy. The jumbo shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was just right. The best I’ve had in a long time!“

“I am always suspicious of places that don’t focus on one cuisine but we have ordered twice now from Yuki Kitchen and have been impressed by the authenticity of the menu. We ordered Simmered Shitake mushrooms, Lucky Pink Radish, and smashed spicy cucumbers and all were amazing. We also ordered Yaya Balls which are deep fried octopus. My son had them in Japan on a visit a few weeks ago and said they tasted just as good. He was also excited to see a brand of iced tea he had in Japan. Yuki Kitchen is a tiny but mighty source for authentic Asian food. Don’t drive by it….“

“I've been here at least 10 times. Absolutely DELICIOUS, always fresh, incredible portions, so reasonably priced, and undoubtedly the best poke bowl you'll get within many many tens of miles.

It's a hidden gem, small corner place you'll likely miss many times during your trips to Trader Joe's, but it's my favorite restaurant in Stamford. It's family owned and you'll see the brilliant kids helping their parents in the front register on occasion.

Also, they deliver in house, so you dont need to overpay with Grubhub, etc.

“I ordered general tso combo, it came with an egg roll and fried rice. I would recommend especially because the prices are reasonable and the quality was good. I really enjoyed the flavors. The food was cooked well and I like how light the fried rice was, not greasy. The egg roll was crispy and delicious. I will definitely order again ?“

“Fast delivery, hot good food. At least every time we've had it we've enjoyed it. Also the prices are pretty good. There's a small delivery charge but it's less than the ridiculous fees the delivery apps charge you even with their so called "free delivery". Definitely recommend trying this place out!“

“Really nice people who clearly care about what they do. When you want your dish over noodles this is honestly great Chinese food for a mall environment. They use a little too much corn starch so the sauces are really thick but that's the basis of classic Chinese food.

Portion size is very good for Jumbo Shrimp with Broccoli and Chicken with Broccoli for under $11 over noodles. They serve in Eco containers which is a very nice touch. Overall I'd honestly of the Town Center food court options this and the Indian immediately next door are the best options.“

“Great takeout place. We order from here a couple of times a month. The food is very good and the service is efficient and courteous. They are always on tinte.Unlike some Chinese places, Empire Szechuan has flavorful food, where each entree has a distinct taste. We love it.“

“Got some take out for my girl here. Classic general sue chicken . A local shop that is good for the neighborhood. If you ask for extra fortune cookies they don’t even charge you which is nice because I will save them for my daughter as a snack because they are healthy instead of regular cookies. Make sure you get the combo meal as well it is cheaper than ordering chicken and fried rice on the side“

“Love it!! We came across this restaurant while walking in the mall yesterday and so glad we tried it out. Order the roast pork hot pot and chicken and vegetables with black bean sauce. Food is excellent and service is second to none. Even their regulars who eats there were friendly! The food is and the waiter came around to make sure the food was okay and not too salty. Definitely the best Chinese restaurants in Connecticut.“

The steamed vegetable dumplings I really didn't like that much..... they were pretty doughie..... But the chicken fried rice with vegetables is very good and for $10 you get a whole large order for takeout....... I definitely would recommend.... You might have to overlook the ordering process a little........lo Mein was very tasty..noodles were good“

“I asked for crispy chicken and got a moist slop of General Tso instead. The chicken was pretty much reanimated and still alive. Not to mention the husband and wife were in a screaming match between each other which intrigued me as I waited for my food. 5 out of 5 stars will return“

“The food is wonderful , the atmosphere is great and cozy ! BUT the service sucks! We were there 10 minutes and I had to go to the bar just to get a couple of glasses of water . Otherwise once they saw that we finally got service and the rest of the meal was good. And no it wasn’t packed only 3 other tables with people when we were there .“

Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels.

The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out.

The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet.

In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week.“

I love ordering Chinese food from here.
Granted I have never ordered delivery and it seems like that’s where a lot of the negative reviews are coming from.
However, pickup has never failed me. They pack the containers to the top and do not skimp on the portions.

My favorites are the Beef Lo Mein, Hot and Sour soup, Beef with Garlic Sauce and Moo Shu Pork

Yes at times when I got to pick up the food there is a bit of wait but not more than 10 minutes. They are always busy in the back so I get it.

Food is good. Period. If you want that classic greasy (in a good way) hearty yummy Chinese food, this is the place in Stamford for me.“
