“Great find and close enough to the airport you can visit before an evening flight.
All beers were very good, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Choice of beer was also great with some lesser spotted styles about too.
Food was decent - fresh and tasty although the tacos I had could have done with some more depth to the flavour. The animal fries were addictive; a must try!

The food truck which was Italian food was made to perfection, from the pizza to the gnocchi to the mozz sticks. Couldn’t ask for a better afternoon of relaxing with family and friends.“

“Stopped here on my way from Mass to Bradley (because to hell with expensive airport food, and I like to support local) to grab lunch, and I was not disappointed. Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. I sat at one of the 3 barstools to eat a bit before I headed out, great spot to watch cars/people. Nice little place. Friendly staff.“

“I’ve been going to 2nd Bridge for a few years now and it’s my favorite spot in central CT by far. Not only are the beers delicious, but it’s truly a “Cheers” environment where everyone not only knows your name but also every story you’ve shared before. I highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants a cozy spot that has excellent libations and the finest array of football around.“

“Had my son’s 21st Birthday party. Spent the whole day cooking. I am so glad I had Cocktails and the Carriage there to take care of the bartending. It’s usually my job as well. It took a huge burden off of my shoulders. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was unbelievable. I actually got to sit down and relax a bit which never happens. I highly recommend them for any function.“

“We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. We truly felt like we got more than our money’s worth. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time!“

A little on the salty side(feta cheese) but very satisfying. Delicious butter pecan ice cream for dessert from Grass Roots. Service was friendly. “As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

“Service was outstanding. Owner explained specials walked around visiting customers making sure everything was great. Started with shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. Moved into the scallop dinner and wife had a pasta dish oh and the homemade soup then dessert all food was incredible can’t say enough good about this place“

“I did a phone order and the food was ready on time. I had an extra item that I didn't order so I was wondering why it was so high. I didn't complain about it. The egg rolls were perfect, the the roast pork egg food yung sauce was sweet. The chicken nugget things I didn't order was way to salty and the general tao was hard and average. The house lo mein was pretty good. I might try them
again and try something different. This was my first visit.
Total came to $37.
Update. Thanks for the Free Chicken Nuggets. I'm not sure if you supply plastic utensils and napkins, but I was going back home luckily. I should have ask for soy sauce and spicy sauce too.“

“I think the food, service and atmosphere are awesome. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have silverware in the bag before leaving with it when getting something to go. I got a steak the first take out I received and requested silverware but when I got to my destination I had no eating utensils, it was quite disappointing.“
