“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! “Stopped here on my way from Mass to Bradley (because to hell with expensive airport food, and I like to support local) to grab lunch, and I was not disappointed. Ordered a mini pizza, which at 10" was more than enough for 1. Fresh chicken, bacon and tomatoes, delicious tomato base, overall a very good pizza. I sat at one of the 3 barstools to eat a bit before I headed out, great spot to watch cars/people. Nice little place. Friendly staff.“

Not only are the beers delicious, but it’s truly a “Cheers” environment where everyone not only knows your name but also every story you’ve shared before. “Had my son’s 21st Birthday party. Spent the whole day cooking. I am so glad I had Cocktails and the Carriage there to take care of the bartending. It’s usually my job as well. It took a huge burden off of my shoulders. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was unbelievable. I actually got to sit down and relax a bit which never happens. I highly recommend them for any function.“

On the pricey side given what you're getting and it'll definitely take a while to get on a weekend because of the crowd. Staff seems burnt out for sure and we've had some missing/wrong food. “We had such a wonderful experience at Joey’s Garlic! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the penne a la vodka, shrimp scampi, and fried calamari, and every dish was full of flavor. The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. Service was excellent—our server was both fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. For the quality and size of the portions, the pricing was amazing and very affordable. We truly felt like we got more than our money’s worth. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time!“

“As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

“Stopped in recently and enjoyed the Street Fries: cottage fries covered with a delicious Greek sauce, feta cheese, chopped veges and shaved lamb. A little on the salty side(feta cheese) but very satisfying. Delicious butter pecan ice cream for dessert from Grass Roots. Service was friendly. Happy to have such a wide variety of foods to choose from in and near the Granby Center“

“There are car cruise events happening throughout the week throughout the warmer months. Cruisers hang out Sunday mornings for Cars & Coffee events and then on Monday nights are car themed nights. There's also open Cruise Night events on Thursday nights when every car is welcome to show up.“

But when I was late picking up my order, they called me and informed me that there was not a parking space for pick up and to call them when I got there. “I did a phone order and the food was ready on time. I had an extra item that I didn't order so I was wondering why it was so high. I didn't complain about it. The egg rolls were perfect, the the roast pork egg food yung sauce was sweet. The chicken nugget things I didn't order was way to salty and the general tao was hard and average. The house lo mein was pretty good. I might try them
again and try something different. This was my first visit.
Total came to $37.
Update. Thanks for the Free Chicken Nuggets. I'm not sure if you supply plastic utensils and napkins, but I was going back home luckily. I should have ask for soy sauce and spicy sauce too.“
