“Absolutely fantastic experience. The pizza was hands down one of the finest I have ever tasted, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The gyro was equally impressive, fresh, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. You can really tell they use quality ingredients in every bite. “During my weekend stay in Washington DC I was able to visit the New York Grill twice.

Both times the food was IMMACULATE! I highly recommend the Lamb Gyro, and the fries were very good too!

Even with roughly a 20 Minute walk back to my hotel, the food comes out hot, and well wrapped, allowing the heat to stay within and keep your food warm for quite a while!

Overall, this was my favorite place we ate over the course of 3 days, out of about a dozen spots.

I DEFINITELY Recommend the New York Grill! Please patronize this great establishment, hell go 3 times a day if your budget allows!

“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!“

“This place is delicious. We only had a few days in DC, so we had to be selective where we ate. I don't think I've ever had straight Afgan food, but this place didn't disappoint. About 1/3 of their menu is vegan. They were very accommodating for vegan food, they made modifications even without asking.

If you are vegan, don't miss this gem if you are in DC.“
