“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

“Nice restaurant in Adams morgan, the food was prepared and brought quickly. The tacos were 4.75$, and they were simple but good. I believe the meat tacos were better than the vegan ones, especially the carnitas and chicken tacos.
The staff was amiable and responsive, it was a quite nice dinner.“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“I'm in town working Awesome Con this weekend so two of my coworkers and I got lunch after load-in and we were served by Jackie. She is an absolutely amazing waitress and sincerely beautiful soul. I got a Reuben and mashed potatoes, a pretty simple meal, but delicious. Jackie's service elevated what was supposed to be a simple lunch with coworkers into a highlight of my whole week. 10/10 spot give her and this restaurant all your money.“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“

“this was the BEST pho I’ve ever had!! I got their Banh Mirria Sandwich, and it was the most delicious thing i ate all week. The bread was soft and fresh, the beef and cheese were scrumptious. Highly recommend! I’ll be following them around the US for the rest of my life“

“I really appreciate that they stay open later than most places in the area. The tacos were flavorful, but what stood out most was the service. I asked for room-temperature water (they only had cold), and ELISEO went out of his way to buy one for me — a gesture I won’t forget. My only feedback is that the bathroom and dining area could be kept a bit cleaner. Overall, a great experience! 5 stars for ELISEO!“

“Went today for the first time. We ordered a bulgogi bowl Korean style, Gogi single, carne asada cheesesteak and crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was freshly made and portions were generous. The Korean bowl was the best of items we ordered and will feed me for 2-3 meals. Most places give mostly rice but this bowl was full of toppings and bulgogi. The chicken sandwich was next runner up with a honey glaze and Korean slaw it was the right mix of crunch, sweet and spice. Service was great to boot. We didn’t try any drinks but maybe next time. Highly recommend.“

The nachos were my favorite and absolutely DELICIOUS ! The birria tacos were yummy too! There are a few tables inside that you can eat at, which was great because it was soooo windy outside.
