“Amazing place to hang out, good music, fun yard games, great view, never feeling rushed can just come and go and hang out. Such a great vibe. My only complaint is that there's some kids that come and throw rocks/branches into the river, go in the river, run around and are a little crazy and some parents just allow that sort of behavior, but that's not really the fault of the Shipyard“

“We had The Plum Pit food truck come to our house for our son’s birthday party and had such a great experience! They showed up right on time, were super friendly, and everyone at the party thought the food was amazing.

It was such a great alternative to cooking ourselves or having traditional catering, and the best part was there was essentially no cleanup afterward! Everything was easy from start to finish. We would definitely consider using The Plum Pit again for another party in the future. Highly recommend!“

“Wow, totally blown away by the food and the freindlyness of the staff. Had a rice bowl, the surf and turf sandwich, and the Mac and Cheese. All were excellent. The smoke on the chicken was subtle and excellent. The jerk seasoning was spicy but not overpowering. And the Mac and Chesse? Creamy and perfect! Can't wait for them to come around again. 😋“

The aroma coming from the truck was divine so I couldn’t wait to try the food. I got the crab fries. I was excited to hear they use real crab meat because that makes a difference. They were AMAZING!!!!! I was so full, but I couldn’t stop eating them because they were just that good. The guys running the truck were beyond friendly and welcoming. “I loved my food! It was cooked fresh when we ordered, and was delicious -- and plentiful for the price. We were greeted warmly by the kind gentleman/chef. He showed us our platters when they were ready, so we could indicate exactly how much of each sauce we wanted. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, and seasoned beautifully. The rice was also delicious, and the salad was fresh. My partner equally enjoyed his chicken and rice platter. The interior of the truck (which is what matters) appeared very clean and well kept. This was our first visit, but based on our experience, it will not be our last! :)“
