“My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.“

“I was out shopping and on a whim, I stopped in to get the wife a Crab Cake. We have property on LBI, and only the best restaurants last there. So the wife is spoiled. I took the "large crab cake" home "hoping" she would like it. She Loved it. When they say Large chunks of crab meat they mean LARGE. Their restaurant is very clean and comfortable. We will be back to the Crabcake Company a LOT.“

“These have been the best fried hard wings I’ve had in a long time. They are always fried to my liking and the gentleman that I encountered today was great. I enjoyed our interaction. Mohin was his name and he was very kind and made sure to double check my order a few times to make sure I had the correct items. The restaurant is very clean if you ever want to sit and eat your food after you order and pick it up. They have a soda machine with the general flavors we all love. I’ve been here 4 times so far and I’ve yet to have a complaint. Thanks for being great!!!“

“We decided to go to dinner at Firebirds. I had been once and was not impressed; however my husband had never been there. I have to say the food was good. Cooked exactly the way we wanted. The only draw back we had is the portions of food that you receive for the price that you pay. We felt like we were robbed. We don’t over eat so when I say we had small portions, we really had small portions. The dessert was even small portions for the price that you’re required to pay. The five very thin layers of lemon cake were good but the slice was very thin for $10.25. Out bill was $76.30 for two and I would have no problem if we had an appetizer and alcoholic drinks but there was none of that because we don’t drink. We each had a soda because the lemonade was too tart. The server was very pleasant and on time with everything. We tipped her well as we should have. Not sure I can return there. A little more light would be appreciated if I did return.“

The food was really good, the drinks were amazing (they had the best piña colada I have ever had, and I'm old), the atmosphere was fun but not loud, and they had a mariachi band playing at tables the whole time we were there on a Sunday night in a snowstorm. “I happened upon this establishment a few weeks ago while waiting to take the long drive to EWR. I stopped in, perused the menu, and decided upon lamb chops with the non spicy house sauce, Mac n cheese, and candied yams. The food was one word…FANTASTIC! The service by the bartender (I decided to sit at the bar) was wonderful; the lady spoke to me as tho we’d known each other for years! She was very gracious. And the decor and music was so inviting, not to mention the clean bathrooms! My overall experience was amazing. And here it is, I’m back today, a Tuesday, where they’re closed😂. I pray that the staff is taking much needed time off from thier awesomeness. I’ll be back tomorrow ☺️❤️🫡“

“I’ve frequented this location due to the consistency of food quality, especially with the tenders. At the other surrounding locations, the tenders tend to be dry but at this one, no matter the time of day I’ve come they’ve always been juicy, full of meat and fresh-tasting. Please keep it up!“
