“Newtown is a historic, colonial town, and is very quaint and charming. Within, the Mercury Cafe is a gym with delicious comfort food and great coffee. While it’s vegetarian, many of the dishes can be prepared vegan. The BBQ pulled oats sandwich, pastrami panini, grilled cheese and tomato soup were all so good and comforting. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “This was my first time eating at Cava and the person who made my order Yoselin did an amazing job! She gave me exactly what i wanted and was so polite to me. Her service at Cava was 10/10! She even offered to help me choose something to get since it was my first time and her patience with me was nice of her as I didn’t know what to get at first. “We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

“Overall the food was good and waitress was very nice.

The spice level with their dishes seem to be on the lower end so medium was fairly mellow and mild had the slightest hint of spice. You can taste the actual seasoning of the food through the spice so that’s always nice and it doesn’t have that overpowering burn sensation spicy food can sometimes give.

Starting with favorites..The eggplant dish (baingan bhartha)- It was creamy but still felt light and had such a nice flavor profile. Another favorite was shrimp tawa. It also had a light feel to it and the sauce was perfect to top with rice. The shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection.

The gobi Manchurian was good but not the best i’ve had. They gave you a lot but the sauce was a little clumpy and the breading on the cauliflower was a little mushy while still being crispy. But the flavor was there. The curry paneer was average. Nothing special to note.

I’m not sure what happened with the shrimp tandoori but it was not good. (They did take it off our bill which we were not expecting so that was very much appreciated) The first piece of shrimp I took was undercooked and the next one was mushy and somehow rubbery. It also had zero flavor except for the slight char taste from however it was cooked. After that the dish was left untouched.

If I’m in the area I’ll for sure go back and try other dishes. They have a nice size menu so there are plenty of options to try.“

“I’ve been going here for about two years now and this is my of my favorite restaurants in the area. The Baja Shrimp tacos have this amazing sauce that makes the meal so so good. And the burros have such a good sauce too. I also love their fries, they’re so unique with them being so thin. The service here is also great. You get sat quickly, your server comes over fast, and your food comes out fast. The other night I had this server Dana who was so sweet and we had a nice conversation. It was great because I was dining alone so I was happy to have someone to talk to. And she recommended the pastelitos and they were delicious. Highly recommend!!!“

Salmon was very good nice flavor cooked to perfection n the creamy Alfredo sauce was so creamy n seasoned just right.
Chicken Marsala was also delish. Chicken was moist n tender n the marsala sauce was great lots of mushrooms. Garlic knots added the perfect addition to these dinners. Best part is we have enough for lunch tomorrow. Good to know you can still get a great meal to go.“

“Great Chinese food for the area. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. The beef on a stick was awesome. I did not like the cheesesteak egg roll or the egg drop wonton soup. Everything was either at or above par for Chinese food. We will more than likely return again. Egg roll was really good too. The crispy noodles were really great as a little starter.
