“OMG! We went here last week and I got the shrimp fajitas with flour tortillas, my boyfriend got the shrimp and chicken tortillas, tbh we ordered alot and the manager that night brought us out a crab and cheese dip which was phenomenal! You have to try the homemade made salsas! When I tell you I left so satisfied and happy ! This place will always be in my top 5!“

“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “Just stopped in for a quick drink, but this is a wonderful little gem tucked away in a scenic alley amidst beautiful Old New Castle.

Their cocktails were fantastic, the coffee and tea list was extensive and diverse, and the food looked delicious as well - we’ll come hungry next time!“

“This was my third time at Ground Provisions over the past 6 months and I'm a big fan! I've thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course menu with the wine pairing in the dining room and at the Chef Counter. Both areas were lovely but being able to see the food prep at the counter was fun for my son who loves cooking. I also sat at the bar with a friend ordering from the bar menu. As much as I loved the little store, I appreciate the extra space they put in for dining now. I hope it continues to do well. So happy there is a fine dining option locally for vegan fare.“

“My experience on Concord Pike was wonderful. If I ever need help with the Kiosk they immediately help. Wish the boxes for food were a little larger but I always enjoy my food. “My group of five just returned from lunch at Di Paolo’s and, my goodness, they absolutely nailed it. Our server, Eri, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun—he made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another lunch service.

The fall cocktail menu deserves its own mention: creative, extensive, and delish. The Pumpkin Spice White Russian was the unanimous favorite at our table.

Most of us went with the three-course lunch special for just $20 (with one holdout who understandably couldn’t resist the famous crabcake), and we were truly impressed. Soup or salad, an entree, AND dessert for $20 feels almost suspiciously generous these days. The salads were fresh and flavorful, portions were substantial. The spicy rigatoni was excellent, just the right amount of heat. The salmon and shrimp entree was another table favorite.

And perhaps the smartest part of the whole deal: leaving with a delicious dessert. Lunch now, little treat later. Perfect.

My favorite part about their subs is how their light and fluffy rolls really let the quality of the ingredients shine. This also means the sub isn’t overly filling as a single serving, and you don’t have to chew forever. The staff are a hoot and the old school feel gives me such nostalgia.“
