“Named as one of the top dive bars in the country, Murph's is a bit less ragged and run down and a step up from some of the dives I've been in. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. You can immediately tell that this is a neighborhood bar, where the locals are all familiar with one another. There is ample space for pool, and the 360 degree wrap-around bar is a great touch. We only came in for beer, and I can report back that the draft beer is quite cold!“

“I've been stopping into this place occasionally since it opened. A good atmosphere for alternative entertainment as well as local talent. The only downside is that parking is very limited, and if you are not careful, you could be towed.
I'm glad they added the food truck and outdoor seating.“

“A dope dive bar where a lot of different folk come together to forget about the outside world and have a few drinks over a game or two of pool. There’s tons of bar space and table seating which makes the walkway quite skinny, so be prepared to be bumping shoulders and hips with the patrons all night. Honestly the back wall being full of TVs is kind of hilarious and doesn’t fit the vibe but who cares. Didn’t get the bartender’s name with the tattoos but that guy was really cool. “I've been commuting from VA everyday fr the past few weeks. Ended up working late and getting a room. Found this place after a did a quick Google maps search, and was IMMEDIATELY sold when a review said this bar reminded them of "Cheers".

BRIAN was the bartender when I came in. He was super welcoming and had great small talk. As someone who's never been here, he treated me like a regular.

CHARLIE, who prepared the food, also came out when he had time and was a pleasure to chat with. The food he made was really good.

The environment is what I look for in a bar. If I lived here, this would be my regular spot.. It's refreshing to find small places like this, where people care and build a welcoming environment. I'd come back, NO QUESTION! Cheers to another late work day!“

“We just had our welcome party for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Meghan, Jordan and Ashley were very easy to reach. They responded quickly and were extremely helpful as well as accommodating. The evening of the event went without any issues.The only change is I would have brought some zip locks for the kids to be able to take the extra cookies and brownies home as a sweet treat that was delicious. That is on me, not them. Wonderful place to have an event that you do not have to worry about anything on that night. They were extremely attentive and flexible the entire evening. Job well done Creamery - great time was had by all that attended“

The menu boasted a tempting array of options, and we eagerly chose the kale Caesar, cornbread, and brisket mac and cheese to begin. Oh my goodness – each starter was an absolute revelation! For our main courses, my wife savored the delicate lamb gnocchi, while I thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly cooked salmon. Neither dish disappointed; they were both executed flawlessly. A thoughtful touch was Katie finding me a delicious non-alcoholic beer, a real treat since I don't drink. To conclude our exceptional meal, we shared a lemon pound cake that was simply divine. “I have hosted two parties at McCully's in 2018 for corporate functions. Nick rocked both functions with excellent service, reasonable pricing and flexibility. The relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to kick back, laugh, sing and dance all while eating good bar food. The second party was in May with an expanded menu, my favorite new item was the mahi mahi tacos. Our bartenders Alice and Meredith were EXCELLENT! They had everyone laughing and engaged, mixed drinks quickly and deliciously and pouring one of their 40+ selections of craft beer. The birthday patry people provided the food and allowed everyone to have some, which was so nice. There was a DJ named DJ Cuzzin Pete who was jammin! It's hard to get guys to dance with you in Delaware. I don't know why? Pretty small place. There is a pool table and a nice sized dance floor. The mixed drinks were good.“
