“What an awesome place. Good food, amazing service and even better view of the water. Great place for kids with its own playground and so many things to watch while waiting for your food. A mix of different choices on the menu, a few bars, two stages for bands and plenty of room to walk and watch people. Update 9-16-23 A day trip to the beach we had to stop here again. “I live out of town, and boy do I wish there was a Seedbol near me! My mom, son, and I ate there and all three of us loved it - even the picky 10 year old! The guys working were so kind and patient with us, since we’d never been and were having a hard time deciding. We had Katia look after us and she was superb. dishes: raw seafood special ($54ish) 5/5, soft shell crab 5/5, Manhattans 5.5, value for money 5/5, kids food was excellent. Highly highly recommend. “First time at The Federal, and it was hands down the best dining experience I’ve had in the Delmarva area. The food, people, and overall ambiance was phenomenal and I will now recommend this restaurant as my go to when I have visitors.The truffled Mac and cheese was “light” and had tons of flavor, and the little crust of breadcrumbs on top elevate it further. The hanger steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare and had a balance of flavor that didn’t take away from the quality of the meat being the first thing I noticed when I ate each and every bite.Owners Ellen (and Todd) were active in the kitchen and the bar, and still made time to check in to make sure everything was great. “We made the discovery of this wonderful restaurant last night. It is a beautiful restaurant with many good seating options including the bar! The food, the libations, the service all wonderful. However, the hospitality that Ben and Diane have created is priceless! They are working owners leading by example! A truly wonderful experience! “We've been here many, many, many times and we will be back soon. What a good restaurant and they even have a nice semi outdoor area to sit and enjoy a cocktail or two. We've had at least 3/4'ers of the menu from olives and bread, (baguette) to start, Caesar, roasted beet salad, firecracker shrimp (not my favorite, I wouldn't order again), tuna poke I've had many times, ( once at the bottle the tuna wasn't as nice as on the top), sorry to say. Entrees short ribs, scallops, Bolognese, tuna, fish species and filet specials. We usual wash it down with a bottle of The Opin Swift Paillon. Service has always been good and it's a welcoming place. It is what it is, I tell friends, it's the menu which doesn't change which I'm fine with (others not so much), what they do they do well. I'll see you soon.“

Food was good, but nothing spectacular imo. The greens were my favorite part of the meal. Mac and cheese could have used some more flavor. “I like breakfast anytime of the day especially with a great referral from a friend. Went to The Nook for the first time today. It's a small corner building in a strip mall at Paynters Mill in Milton Delaware.They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything seems to be made from scratch, fresh.Wide variety of foods available!Started with coffee and a mimosa. The mimosa seem to be made with fresh squeezed orange juice and a wedge of orange with champagne.I ordered the Spanish omelette and instead of having potatoes, had small salad with lime vinaigrette and small fresh berry mixed fruit with my Spanish omelet. Soooo good. You're not rushed to make a selection and you're not rushed out of the restaurant after completing the meal. It was full when we came in and full when we left. Clean, great service and atmosphere.“

“Came here for my 44th birthday and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge, great value. We started with the crab dip, which was big enough for 4. It had huge chunks of crab. The pretzel sticks weren’t the easiest to navigate with the dip but were themselves good. I had the house special potato crusted salmon. My dad had the prime rib. We both were happy. There was no room left for dessert unfortunately. Decent wine selection but beer options were limited. Would definitely recommend, especially when their outdoor patio is open.“

“One of my husband and my favorite spots! They 100% have the best crab cake… straight lump crab meat with little filler. We visit DE once a year for our anniversary & this is always on our list of must go places. My husband loves the crabby tots & I always get the raspberry walnut salad with a crab cake on top. We have been ordering the take and bake crab cakes the last few years to take back to NC for our family, who look forward to them every year! Staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is great! “Nice little mom & pop restaurant. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich that was tasty. It was a little messy to eat but was pretty good and larger than I expected. Needed a lil more seasoning in the chicken salad but overall yummy sandwich and I'd order just chicken salad from here anyway. What brought my rating down was the chefs salad I got. Maybe it's just me but the ice berg lettuce screwed it up. More meat would've been better. The turkey wasn't good but the ham was. Idk... I threw out most of it.But anyways, it seems like a nice place to eat. I saw lots of older folks there and seems very family friendly.They offer homemade pasta, sauce, hots and other things for retail sale apart from the menu.“

“We visited this location for lunch while on vacation. It was a pretty nice option. Not busy during the week day. It looks like they had a great selection of drinks on tap. We didn't partake, so can't speak to the quality. We had a crab soup that was very good, and was gone in a flash. The fried rice was really pretty good, and had good portion of shrimp. The Cuban was ok. The highlight was our family signing up to play the trivia game they had on the displays. It was fun, and made the experience all the better.“

The crab cake sandwich is top notch, the fried pickles are the best I ever had, and the Asian wings are perfect. Drinks are big and tasty, especially the spicy margarita. There is a lot to love here!Where they lose a star is service. Not for friendliness and capability, but speed. Too many times now it is just too slow, and that is not the servers or waitstaffs' fault. Recently we were seated nearly 15 minutes before we had to remind the hostess we were there, and she went to get the waitress. She was awesome, but drinks took another 10 min, food was close to 30, more, and that is all too long. It is not the workers at all, as they are all great, they just always seem shorthanded.Overall though it's a spot you have to see and experience, as it really is a ton of casual fun.“

“This is my husband's and my favorite restaurant in the beach area, for breakfast and lunch. And we live here, so come here quite often and have never had anything less than perfect. Absolutely fabulous staff, friendly and welcoming. And terrific food--the best blueberry pancakes ever, and homemade vegetable soup as good as grandma made. Not to mention the homefries, omelets, etc. It has a very comfortable, home-town vibe, and you can sit and enjoy your coffee or even have a breakfast cocktail at your leisure. Just like last time the food was awesome (steak night - sirloin strip, baked Mac and cheese, and green beans for $20), the service was first rate, and the live band, Nick Kashmanian Trio, was great! We were there from 6:30 to 10:30 and loved every minute of it!Parking: Conch Island is located in a strip mall so parking is shared with other businesses. Arriving last night at 6:30 meant that we literally got the LAST parking spot available at that time. It’s definitely worth waiting for a spot to open or parking down the street and walking if necessary though.“

The portions are large enough to split or take home half. We like to sit outside because the view is so pleasant. The side curtains come down if it rains and the ceiling fans are on in warm weather. The Asparagus Puree Soup was another delicious option. This is definitely somewhere we will come back to next vacation.“

“First time visit.I didn't want a lot of bread, so I got the steak and cheese wrap with provolone (ewww - it comes with American cheese? What is that?), mayo on the side. Ample filling ... I was starving and could barely finish it. Onion rings (order 'em well done and remember the salt!) on the side (substitute) was a nice touch. Total was under $17.My only complaint was the style of steak is chopped. To me, that's pre-digested. It tastes fine - I just don't care for it that way.They also have more than a few homemade soups, which is very nice. I didn't try them but maybe I will next time.I'll be back. “I had a good experience at DB fries, the food was good, the fries were yummy, we got our food quick + it was pretty affordable! Me and my friends went to DB fries around 4pm on a Tuesday. There was no wait and our food came out pretty quickly. We had previously went around 8:30 pm and they were out of everything... make sure you go early! I got the crab cake sandwich and it was pretty delicious! It came with lettuce and tartar sauce. I'd happily get this again. “We go to Yellowfin's often for the great food and service but this evening was particularly outstanding. It was Easter Sunday. We came in at 5:40 and was told that they would be closing at 6 because of the holiday. Our server, Reagan was so gracious. We were willing to leave but she explained that they weren't taking new customers after 6 but it was perfectly fine that we ordered before then. The meal was excellent and she was so attentive. I have been coming to this place for a really long time, as every summer i stay at my grandparent's beach house in Bethany Beach. I was so glad when they built a location in Ocean View because it's much closer to us. It also holds a special place in my heart as one of the last times I ate there was my grandfather's last meal at a restaurant before passing away in late April 2023. We went with him along with some of our other relatives during Easter Weekend of 2023. We were seated in a private room on the first floor and it was perfect. A Hopkins Lacrosse game was playing on the tv and it wasn't as loud so my grandpa could hear us.Which was great since he had hearing issues. He ordered everything on the menu pretty much from appetizers, to meals, to dessert, to drinks (starting before we even got menus) and it was delicious. “The food was good, great flavors that were well balanced. My only complaint is portion size. I ordered the chicken kebabs appetizer and only received 2 skewers with 3 small pieces of chicken on it. My main was the strawberry chipotle bbq ribs. The ribs were nice and very tender, great sauce. The richness of the Mac and cheese contrasted nicely with the acid of the braised greens. Again, my only complaint is portion size. I only got a 1/8-1/4 rack of ribs when I was expecting at least a 1/2 rack, the meat to side ratio was off in favor of the sides. Kind of disappointing that I was still hungry when I finished it“

“I visit Rehoboth beach every year for the running festival. First time at Sammy's kitchen for me. Food was cooked just right. Everywhere else ive been, the eggs are always overcooked - but not here. I'll be coming here again next year. Everything was just right. And, the prices are very reasonable.“
