“I’m new in town and was excited to find a Starbucks with extra room in the back for studying or working on my laptop. The space looked perfect for settling in with a coffee and getting some work done. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to the music volume. It felt like the speakers were turned up to nightclub levels, making it impossible to focus. Even with earphones, I couldn’t enjoy my own music or concentrate on my tasks. While I appreciate a good ambiance, this was just too much for a coffee house. A lower volume would make it a more comfortable environment for those of us looking to work or study.“
