“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. If you are in the Newark area and would like some tasty and quick diner food, go there & ask for Alicia <3 Thanks Alicia will be there again real soon !“

“They give you a lot of food. The brother that helped us was nice as I could hear him talking to my husband and trying to ensure he had some free tea as we waited for our food.

I didn't see any restroom in the waiting/ dining area,but when my husband needed to use the bathroom, they allowed him to use theirs on the back, which was nice“

“My wife and I enjoyed a great meal this evening at Pinang Asian Cuisine. The flavors were wonderful. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. The atmosphere in the dining area was pleasant aesthetically with music to match. Definite 5 stars.“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

Parking: There was a whole parking lot in front of the building on the sides as well.“

“We were visiting Newark for a furry convention nearby and my partner and I got stuck in a random hailstorm on our way to Chipotle down the street. We took cover in Home Grown and found out it's got a large selection of vegan selections, which was a surprise! We took the opportunity for a date and our server, Dana, was wonderful. They introduced us to the restaurant and gave us an overview of the menu, specials, and their favorite drink. We ended up ordering the Maple Barbecue seitan wings, the casserole style loaded fries, the seitan birria tacos, the winter mac, and Dana's favorite drink, the Bird by Bird. The drink was amazing and a perfect choice with all of the food being incredible. I wish there was one near where we live. What an absolutely wonderful date.“

“We decided to go to dinner at Firebirds. I had been once and was not impressed; however my husband had never been there. I have to say the food was good. Cooked exactly the way we wanted. The only draw back we had is the portions of food that you receive for the price that you pay. We felt like we were robbed. We don’t over eat so when I say we had small portions, we really had small portions. The dessert was even small portions for the price that you’re required to pay. The five very thin layers of lemon cake were good but the slice was very thin for $10.25. Out bill was $76.30 for two and I would have no problem if we had an appetizer and alcoholic drinks but there was none of that because we don’t drink. We each had a soda because the lemonade was too tart. The server was very pleasant and on time with everything. We tipped her well as we should have. Not sure I can return there. A little more light would be appreciated if I did return.“

I’ve now tried several different items and different pizzas and all of them have been delicious. You gotta try the BBQ beef cheesesteak (add extra meat and extra cheese) and BBQ chicken pizza. Wow 👍👍. I can tell they get slammed with takeout and delivery orders. Great staff. They’re my new go to.“

They were both a pleasure to work with. Miranda did a great job preparing the room and was available with her charming smile everytime we needed her! Our servers; Lawrence, Sofia and Erin were just as wonderful! Shoutout to Erin for helping me connect Smartview with the TV when we had a technical glich!! If you need to plan a party and need a private room for 50 people or less, with delish food, drinks that are not watered down, and great customer service, I highly recommend Brio!!“

Today my wife ordered the Fiesta Lime chicken and I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken. My wife was happy with her meal. Mine was tasty but lots if oil. Disappointed there but the chicken breast was nice and tender. Our waiter was nice and friendly.“

Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. “Every time someone asks me for a restaurant recommendation at Christiana Mall I always mention Nordstrom and somehow it still always comes as a surprise. I've loved every visit here, and the absolute best is sitting at the "bar" that overlooks the kitchen and getting to watch the chefs cook. They're all so efficient, calm, talented, and I honestly just have such a great time watching them that I'm generally a poor date when I'm there!

The food is also fantastic, super fresh, tasty, with some really fantastic appetizers. The sandwiches are also some of the best constructed sandwiches I've ever had, which sounds weird to think about, but once you've had one you'll see what I mean.“

I have tried two another things and I didn’t like the smaller portions they gave me with those other platters so I will just stick with the amazing okra stew with fufu.
