“Awesome food. One of the only spots near by with beef bacon and beef scrapple. And sells breakfast all day. Great sandwich, bacon spread across the whole sandwich so every bite has bacon. Everything else I have ordered was made perfect. Owner is always working. Every time I go in there he is cooking. Great customer service. Definitely a spot I recommend to family and friends when they are in the area.Parking: Difficult to park right out front, tight space and limited . The wife just enjoys the food. Once again the decorations were fantastic, with all of the Demon Slayer figures to the random TVs with random anime on. Bathroom is gender neutral but contains wanted posters if you're hunting down the Straw Hats.Its can be a bit claustrophobic and when we walked in the place was packed. We got the last table in the place. As far as the help went there was this lone server covering the whole restaurant. We did get our dinner in a timely manner and still warm. I got the teriyaki and the wife got the seared pork butt bowl. We did try to order a few things too but those were items that run out? Run out of tea?All in all, the meal was pretty good. Not perfect but this might be a good place to go to find out if a new romantic interest is as into anime as well. Might even want to share the larger bento box since it's meant for sharing. Definitely want to share a bite or two of the Mont Blanc, which I've never had. They're charging the same prices that their sister restaurant charges, and it's a pick your poison as to whether you want to deal with Newark or the mall, but you're choice. They both serve food that the other doesn't have on the menu.“

“Wonderful drinks and dinner at Portobellos Kenneth Square. A pear cocktail, very fruity and tasty. A Bailey's, Kahlua and Fireball that was delicious. A mushroom and Jim Beam Manhattan, smoky and did have a mushroom background. We started with mushroom arancini, cheesy and mushroomy. The clams Avalon, their take on clams casino, but are so much better. The clams are definitely the star, not killed with an overabundance of bread crumbs, and the clams are left whole, not minced. Tender, chewy and clammy with their liquor still in the shell. The saucy ravioli is mushroomy and creamy. The crispy duck with cherry sauce is fall off the bone tender. All in all a great birthday dinner.“

Only sour note was being reminded our time was up by 2 staff members within 3 minutes. When we explained to the 2nd women that someone else had just come by, the women told us the next customers were there and needed to be seated. I thought, "Here's your hat. What's your hurry!" We will be back, but your staff needs to figure out a better way to hurry customers out. Left a sour taste after such a wonderful Easter dinner.“

“I enjoyed my short time at Nicely's. I was there for a quick and affordable lunch special. I ordered rice and peas w/ox tail gravy, plantains, and cabbage. I'm trying to refrain from meat this month but I couldn't resist the gravy. I also order a hot and delicious coco-bread without the patties. The service was fast and convenient and paperless. You can definitely grab a bite to eat on your lunch break and not spend hours waiting for your food.“

“I found out about a scholarship fundraiser through Event Brite ( and pick up was yesterday. There were no signs or anything at the location about the event; which was interesting because they were offering walk up orders. But how would anyone driving by know that? Regardless, as I drove by I noticed traffic cones in their side driveway. When I pulled around and into the driveway to follow the cones there were people and tents in their back parking lot. I was wearing a mask just because I didn't know what to expect and we are still trying to protect others. A guy came up to my passenger window, asked my name, the guy sitting at a table under the tent found my order. No one else was masked. I was told through email when contacting the event organizer the crabs were cooked elsewhere but the fish platter would be cooked at pick-up. They were playing good music too (Prince.) I didn't have to wait long and two other men came up to the window with my order and asked where I wanted it. They put it in the back for me as we had some friendly banter. I wanted to support because this was a good cause. Sadly, the food was all cold and the crabs were small BUT that's not what things like this are solely about. I would still go back and support.“
